Our family group of nine had a terrific stay at this home. Clean, spacious rooms and kitchen; comfy beds; plenty of space for meals together and watching the Olympics. One of our party used public transport to get around and had positive reviews; we also appreciated being close to the river boulevard for good long walks. Flexible hosts and excellent communication.
Large house with plenty of bedrooms for the whole family. Good open space with large kitchen and dining room. The ping pong table downstairs was perfect for the teenagers. This space allowed it while family to do Christmas the way it oughta be done... All together!
Our group of 4 couples, 8 adults have an annual trip to watch college hockey. This year the tournament was located in St.Paul. The house was as listed. Wow are there a number of beds room's. We only used 4 of the 7. All beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Since one of the group lived locally we were able to bring our lawn chairs to accompany the picnic table. The backyard was perfect for grilling and a game of Cornhole. Parking was easy with the 2 stall garage and plenty of street parking out front. The only odd thing is the lack of a bathroom on the main level. You have to go up one flight of stairs or down 1 flight to the basement. The ping pong table I. The basement was a hit. Overall our stay was excellent. The nearby college campus and walk to the river made our exercise the highlight of each day. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend for our son’s graduation from UST. The location was great and walkable to the school. The 7 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths worked well for us. The home is older but updated and very clean. We had a gathering of family and friends in the backyard and used the picnic table and we brought extra chairs and a folding table. There was plenty of room for us and a bag game. The beds were comfortable and kitchen had what we needed. My son and friends used the ping pong table in the basement and the family room is open to the dining table so the space accommodates extra people. It was a wonderful stay. Communication with the host was easy and they responded quickly. We would stay again. There are stairs to the bedrooms - 4 bedrooms and one bath on the second floor and 3 bedrooms and one bath on the third floor. The half bath is in the basement along with a laundry room and ping pong table. There is no bathroom in the main floor. There is a 2 car garage (unattached) in the back alley and and extra uncovered parking spot in the back as well as street parking in front of the home.
