Torch Lake Getaway

Wonderful place to stay, very much like being at home with a great view of Torch Lake. Would recommend this house as not only was it just what we were looking for but close to all attractions.

This cottage was right next-door to another cottage we rented so the family was very close. It was very clean. Communication with the owner was top-notch would definitely come back. The location is right across from the sandbar where a lot of people anchor their boats and just hang out on the water and it’s walking distance from this cottage. It was very convenient for family members that wanted to go in a little earlier than others to be able to walk right from sandbar across the street to to the cottage.

One day, it will become my sixth generation’s Torch Lake cottage, so I take great pride in caring for it. I love sharing this special part of northern Michigan with guests and hope you enjoy the area as much as we do.

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect mix of convenience and classic cottage charm. It’s close to everything you need, yet the backyard feels peaceful and relaxing. This area brings back the true spirit of northern Michigan cottage living — cozy, simple, and nothing like a modern hotel room. It’s a place where you can slow down and truly unwind.

What makes this property unique

This cottage has a few special touches that make it stand out. An outdoor hot‑water shower (coming soon) adds to the authentic lake‑life experience, and deer often wander through the yard during quiet moments. And of course, you simply can’t get any closer to the famous Torch Lake sandbar at this price — the location is truly exceptional
