Nice location/Needs maintenance
We were so very excited to spend a week at the beach that we and got there a whole 5 minutes early. Once we arrived at the cottage, it had yet to be cleaned, so we waited 20 minutes in the back yard, the cleaners showed up, poured some pinesol on the floors and were gone in 15 minutes. It was amazing that 6 people in showed up in a van to clean a small cottage and after they left it was still filthy-dirty doorknobs and bathroom sink, dusty corners and ceilings, broken curtain blinds/rods and sunk in couch. Hopefully they have fixed the broken back screen door by now and picked up the crumbs under the kitchen table and maybe even replaced the rusty microwave. Needless to say we spent the night cleaning, being grossed out, and trying to settle in. This is a very cute cottage in need of many minor updates including new mattresses. The location was great too. If you decide to vacation here, when packing you beach gear don't forget your bucket of cleaning supplies and a few lawn chairs for the living room as the couch will give you heebie jeebies and a back ache.
