Great, except...

Everything about the house and hosts was WONDERFUL! Clean, well-appointed, responsive, and close to two really cool parts of town. HOWEVER, renters should be advised that it is just a few hundred yards from the county prison. The listing says the recommended transportation is a car. The locals we went to visit translated that to "don't walk around there, especially at night." One night at the nearby 7-11, we had some interactions with a couple of guys who had literally just gotten released. Overall, it was still a solid experience. Just be advised that you are in an area that isn't as nice as many other parts of Denton.
