Historic Church Hill- Richmond’s oldest neighborhood, surrounded by acclaimed restaurants, this is a walker's paradise close to 3 parks with commanding city skyline views and the mighty James River. Close to downtown, the Capital Trail, state government and Richmond International Airport.
The St. John's Church Historic District of Church Hill is one of the largest in-tact collections of 19th and 20th century homes in America. Large and small, detached or rowhouse, cottage or grand mansion-Church Hill's array of Victorian, Greek Revival, and Italianate structures will take you back in time and delight the senses of architecture enthusiasts. The homes and gardens are a treat for the senses and are best viewed by walking around. A ride by just doesn't do it justice. The neighborhood is home to nationally acclaimed restaurants and bakeries-there's something for just about every taste.
Ready for some nightlife? The Fan, Carytown, Scott's Addition and Downtown are just a stone's throw away. Richmond is a mecca of breweries-they're everywhere. Looking for a quiet peaceful evening?
