Large 3 BR Condo, Incredible Views, Families, 5 Min Walk to SPECTACULAR BEACH

Golden Reef Condominium is located next to Punta Leona Hotel & Club, a 750-acre reserve in a rainforest home to iguanas, scarlet macaws, toucans, white faced monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths, coatis and more. At only an hour and a half drive, it is the closest beach to Costa Rica's capital, San José and the San José International Airport (SJO). The perfect home base for any number of tours in the area. Most notably, Punta Leona is home to Playa Blanca, a white sand beach which has year after year won the highly sought after Eco Blue Flag (Bandera Azúl Ecológica) with a 5 out of 5 star rating – one of only 2 beaches in all of Costa Rica to garner that rating. And it's a 5-minute walk from the condo!

The condo has all the comforts of a modern home with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, washer/dryer, air-conditioning units in each room, cable TV, free WiFi and a very large terrace. As our condo is located on the 4th floor of the building, you will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Pacific ocean, the landmark rock of La Leona, Playa Blanca, as well as the flight of scarlet macaws, pelicans, and numerous other wildlife. The unit has two private parking spaces located within the Golden Reef complex. Families with children will love the pool area with slide. Beach toys are also provided in the unit.

In the nearby towns of Quebrada Ganado, Jacó and Herradura, you will find a variety of grocery and souvenir stores as well as plenty of restaurant choices in addition to many places to book canopy, horseback riding and deep sea fishing tours.

* CANCELLATION POLICY: Once the first rental payment has been received, there will be no refunds issued unless:
- We can re-rent the condo for the same dates and rental rate.
- If the condo can be re-rented for a partial number of days, a refund will be issued for those dates only.

* Rental Car Required - public transportation, taxis or Ubers not readily available
* Reservation does NOT include access to Punta Leona Hotel & Club amenities (restaurants, bathrooms, kayak rental, beach parking)

It's was great stay in so many ways... the place is perfect... good distribution, perfect view, the pool is amazing, you don't need to bring anything... everything is here, The process to get in is very easy, Herve is avaible to help and he is in contact to know how is everything. The condo is immaculate with breathtaking views. Walk to the beach takes 5 minutes. The owner was very responsive and shared lots of useful information prior our arrival. We had great time and hope to be back.

Unknown to us, Punta Leona and Playa Blanca are inaccessible unless you are staying within the private area. The view from the condo was stunning, and it was just as described in the listing. I will note that I would recommend bringing groceries with you, as the road out of the area is about 15 minutes (and who would want to leave once you arrive?). Herve was extremely thorough with directions to the place (it would be hard with the detail) and was very responsive throughout the process.

Owners were great at communicating, and available when needed. The view was incredible. Saw a sea turtle when snorkeling which was a huge highlight of our trip!

Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys. Would go back in a minute.
