About this property

Shenandoah Mountain House - Guest Suite

Smells of the forest. Sights of the mountain. Conveniences of home. Welcome to our little secret in Shenandoah!

Our chalet is situated on the hills surrounding Shenandoah Valley. Walk 25 minutes to the river. Drive 10 minutes to the national park entrance and Skyline Drive. Our property owners association keeps the roads in excellent condition year-round.

Our 2 bedroom 2 bath guest suite is a separate private unit located at the basement of the house (lower level windows in the photo).
Note: For larger groups, we also offer the full house (separate listing). In any case, you will be the only group staying at the property and have the entire outdoor spaces to yourself.

We have a hammock and two swings as well as a fire pit. The main deck has patio furniture, outdoor dining table, and a charcoal grill.

Please note that the kitchen has an electric stovetop and a microwave but no oven (due to county restrictions). There is also a fridge, dishwasher, toaster, French press/Nespresso coffee maker in the kitchen area.

Load the dishwasher
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Lock the doors and return the keys
Don't take any trash outside; tie up trash bags and leave them where they are.
Leave the outdoors as you found it, with the sofa, grill and umbrellas covered; clean the grill thoroughly and discard the ashes
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
- No shoes in the house please! - No overnight guests without specific permission; only guests on the booking should be staying overnight.
- We expect our guests to be courteous and clean after themselves.
If the cleaning crew finds an unreasonable mess, an extra cleaning fee of $50+ will be charged to cover our costs.
