This location offered plenty of space and options for our trip and was conveniently located near our destination. The view from the deck was amazing! Communication was easy and prompt. Overall, would definitely recommend.
Location & views were just amazing. We were looking for a place with views of the lake & fall foliage and this place did not disappoint. The kitchen needs attention with old mismatched items, clutter and it needs a thorough cleaning. Most of the beds were comfortable and this house gave us the space we were hoping for during our weekend girls trip
Staying at this house was a fantastic experience, and the view from the house was absolutely amazing. Waking up to that scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and, for us, it made up for any of the house's shortcomings.I'll be honest, the mattresses were pretty uncomfortable. We found the house itself could use some updates, but the incredible view definitely makes this a worthwhile place to stay.It would be beneficial to do a little cleaning and take inventory of the kitchen cabinets. There are plenty of random utensils and plates, but they're not very organized. We did run into a few minor issues during our stay, but contacting the property manager was a breeze. She was super easy to get in touch with and helpful in resolving the issues.
The best thing about this property is it's grand view of Seneca lake from the covered back deck. The home was relatively comfortable and spacious with lots of room for parking. It served our needs fairly well. There was plenty of bedding and towels.
The property would benefit from upgrades to the mattresses and a refresh of the kitchen/dining stock.
Management/owner responded promptly and kindly.

Watkins Glen Friends trip
The house is in a beautiful spot. Connections with property manager was excellent. She was quick to respond to our needs. The house needs updates, repairs, and cleaned better, but still.....it has basically what you need. The manager was very receptive to our suggestions so the things we found unsatisfactory I expect will be corrected. Can't beat the location. Walmart close by and view of the lake amazing. We had a great time.

Beautiful View - Not Kept House
The house has a beautiful view, the one thing the description got right. When I arrived, I was super excited but quickly found the excitement turn to frustration. It's obvious from the photos that the house is dated. Not a big deal as long as it's maintained properly and clean.
First impressions are everything. The outside foliage is very over grown, like it hasn't been taken care of in a while. When entering the house it had an older house smell, so we quickly opened all the doors to get some fresh air in. Then went to unpack the kitchen, opened the fridge to find what appeared to be some sort of melted cheese had fell over and not been cleaned up, counters where sticky, and an old sponge left to use in the sink. I did not expect to have to clean.

Look elsewhere - Do not stay here!
The house is outdated, which we expected from the photos, but we were not expecting it to be as bad as it was. Beds were very uncomfortable; the air mattress we bought was much more comfortable than any of the queen beds. The kitchen was cluttered with no cabinet space for food. The kitchen supplies were in poor condition—many were dirty or rusty. The whole house was cluttered and disorganized. The deck was in poor shape with soft spots & peeling wood. The side deck was unusable due to its poor condition and leaning railing. The basement bathroom had a gross spot on the counter, rod was completely rusted, & shower was not in good condition. The upstairs sink spewed water everywhere. The showerheads were all terrible. The biggest issue was it was not clean upon our arrival which resulted in us being late to my brother’s rehearsal dinner. The beds were slept in & dirty towels were scattered in the bathrooms. We were approved for early check-in at 2 pm & the house wasn’t ready until well after 5 pm & it was only lightly cleaned. We were yelled at upon our arrival (although she apologized after the fact once she realized what was going on). It turns out the owner decided to stay on the property without telling the management company, so we were greeted to a huge mess and confusion which we had to fight to be somewhat compensated for. It would appear the owner doesn’t care about the property or their duties as a rental host, which is a shame because the location & view were great.
