Beautiful retreat on nearly 2 acres suitable for multiple families or groups. Curl up in front of a fireplace in our cozy but spacious restored 1908 home. Enjoy the warmth of the sunshine through one of the many skylights or cooking in the fully-stocked kitchen. Prepare your morning coffee or tea the way you like it at our lovely coffee bar; single-serve, full pot, French press or pour over. Enjoy the views of nature right outside the many windows. If you're lucky, you may even see a wild turkey or deer! This is your home away from home surrounded by trees on a private, quiet lot. Very close to all you need as it is a 5-minute drive to grocery stores, shopping, parks and major freeways. 15 minute drive to downtown St Paul; 20 minutes to Minneapolis/St Paul Airport or U of M and Vikings Football Stadium; 30 minutes to Mall of America.

Cozy, spacious, memorable!

My six kids and I had a great time at your place! They are teenagers and in their 20s and they like to stay up late and I don’t :-) I get up early. It’s wonderful because people could sleep while I was in the kitchen and I could sleep while they were staying up giggling in the basement and we didn’t bother each other at all. We played the games left by the host. We read their adorable books left on the shelves. We enjoyed the fireplaces! We had several cups of tea and coffee with all the beautiful cups and saucers. We enjoyedthe beautiful view of all of the large trees on the property, and felt like we were the only ones for miles around, although there is a target and many other great stores within a five minute drive. My kids look forward to coming back again someday! We highly recommend this cute, cozy, spacious and memorable home! Thank you for a great Christmas!

I was born in Minnesota and raised in this lovely house and have many wonderful memories as the second oldest of seven children. I am the property manager, my husband (Jake) takes care of maintenance and my parents (Brad & Sharon) are the homeowners. All in all, we truly enjoy working together to create a memorable experience for our guests.

The homeowners describe themselves as "Two characters, who 28 years ago took on the challenge of remodeling an old house with character, while living in it."

They moved in in 1996 along with their six children (and one on the way) and lived and loved through it all. Now their children are grown with families of their own and they are grandparents to 14 precious grandchildren (so far).

We’ve always loved sharing our house with others. Our walls could tell years of happy memories but there is still plenty of room for more to be made. We welcome you to come make some!

What we've always loved about our place is the feeling of being in the country while also being a hop, skip and a jump from everything we could ever need, whether that be parks, grocery stores or friends.
