This was a large house that was able to accommodate our group of 5 families with kids with room to spare. Highly recommend for large groups needing a place to stay. Paul was responsive and helped with any issues we had.

Big house perfect for large group

We had a group of 8 for a weekend away and this house had everything we needed. Large kitchen, plenty of beds and bedrooms, games area, and multiple areas to hang out depending on what we felt like doing. The Games room was great!Thank you

Great big space for a great price!

The Karaoke machine was broken and the oven wouldn’t turn on but other than that it was great and fit my whole family of 18 people!!

Friend Birthday Celebration

It was a great place to gather a group of us to celebrate a milestone birthday. Loads of beds, rooms and amenities for everyone to enjoy. It was very clean and the communication throughout the weekend was great. I would recommend it.

Nice property

Large, comfortable home, very well appointed, we had everything we could ever need. Lovely stay, the only downside was that you couldn't open windows or the house would fill with flies. Upstairs bedrooms got stuffy.

Team stay

This property was perfect for what my team pf players needed. Very spacious and responsive hosts. I would recommend for any occasion. Their are lots of flys in the area but they are tolerable. Air conditioning is weak at best but lots of fans to help with cooling. Really enjoyed our stay!

Huge home on massive property

We really enjoyed out stay in Abbotsford! There is a tonne of space for lawn games, and the deck space has all the sun and or shade anyone could ask for. The home has more beds than any rental we had ever seen, and there are multiple hang out areas with TVs as well. Only slight knock on the property would be the inefficient AC that keeps half of the house warmer than we'd wanted it. Overall we were really happy though, with lots of great meals being made in the well equipped kitchen, and some fun games in the basement too.

We booked this property for a family focused getaway and left disappointed, overheated, and out a lot of money.The central AC didn’t work, despite the host assuring us beforehand that it did. Indoor temperatures hit almost 30C, which made it unsafe for our young kids to sleep. We had to get and install our own portable AC units just to get through the night. Even then, several people left early due to the heat. The host’s response? That we technically had AC because we brought it ourselves.There were cleanliness and safety issues throughout: mold in the shower, flies everywhere, and broken fixtures. The host dismissed every concern and implied we were just difficult guests.To make matters worse, there was a loud party from 1-4 a.m. at a house on the same lot, violating the listing’s quiet hours and requiring a police call. Again, the host claimed it wasn’t his problem.We came as families expecting a safe, functional, clean home and got none of that. Judging by the other reviews, this place may work for party groups who don’t care about maintenance or cleanliness, but it is not family-friendly.We tried to resolve everything directly and were met with condescension and excuses. Avoid this listing if you’re expecting basic standards, honesty, or accountability.

This review is highly unsatisfactory and misleading. We have consistently emphasized that our home is not suitable for hosting parties and have issued multiple warnings to potential guests. Regrettably, your entire group was under the influence of alcohol, trespassed onto neighbouring properties, and played excessive music until 2:00 AM. Despite our efforts to address the situation with your group, we unfortunately received this negative review. To prospective guests considering booking our home, it is crucial to review all available reviews, as this one deviates significantly from the consistent positive feedback received. Furthermore, this guest booked our home to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately, disregarded every house rule imaginable. After speaking with them, this is the review we received.

The Good:-Big house in a relatively quiet area-lots of shopping close by -activities within an hour drive. (Great honey and meadery about 5 minutes away!)-Host communication was fast-Fairly good selection of kitchen items for cooking with -Host had coffee available for useThe Bad: -Basement was mid-reno to fix a water issue. Walls were ripped open, carpet was wet and covered with mats. While this didn't really impede our stay it was disappointing.-Fast moving cars using the single lane roads around the house -Geese crap all over the grass making it basically unusable The Ugly: (-2 Stars)-Deceitful listing (listing makes it seem like the lake is part of the property. This was a major reason we booked this property. It is NOT and can only be looked at and not interacted with and we didn't find out about this until our payment was locked in.)(-1 Star)-Terrible internet (huge latency issues making it unusable most of the time)(-1 Star)
