Extreme Frustration and Disappointment
If you're a group from a fraternity this would be the perfect place for you. If you are meeting friends you see once a year and expect the property to match the upscale price on VRBO you may be extremely disappointed. Many inconsistencies from website - bed/bedroom count, no supplies provided in bathrooms or kitchen (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.)
Host did bring over a minimal amount of supplies after we called her. Also informed her that smoke detectors were beeping and needed batteries. (nothing was done about that). Back gate of property standing open and unable to latch from inside yard, Dirty latex gloves on pool deck, trash in bushes in backyard, trash cans left overfilled and filled trash bags on ground (btw-this is view out one of the bedroom windows) and NONE of outdoor lights worked. Pool is steps from back entrance (with no fencing or barrier) so having no outdoor lighting was an issue. Host did send her pool cleaner for pool and also her electrician to repair lights - Due to potential fire hazard with wiring - the city was called and the city shut power off to the house - actually removed the meter from wall. At this point the host claimed it was out of her control and stopped communicating with us - but not before she changed our reservation dates on VRBO and changed price (without our knowledge). I asked host to change reservation dates to reflect our original seven days but you see it still says two days.
This should give glimpse of our stay.
