Set on 52 acres of private forestland, Ptarmigan Village is truly unique in the area. It is a completely non-commercialized, quiet mountain resort…a little 'cabin' in the woods in Montana! This beautiful townhome is just minutes from the quaint resort town of Whitefish and Big Mountain Resort.

Ptarmigan offers the largest units in the area (1200+ sq. ft.) with wood-burning fireplaces and FREE firewood. This unit is in a fantastic location in the Village…a 2 minute walk to the newly upgraded tennis courts, children's playground, and the new AMAZING indoor pool/sauna and outdoor hot tub! The Village also features a nice warm newly updated outdoor pool, a stocked fishing pond, and hiking trails.

On the main level, there is a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. On the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a king-size bed and other one has 2 sets of bunk beds - perfect for the kids. In the loft, there is a queen-size log bed and a portable A/C unit for those warm summer nights. Surrounded by lush, gorgeous pine trees, Pine Haven features vaulted ceilings, large bright windows, and a FANTASTIC, huge, new deck with a BBQ. Enjoy the privacy from this deck!

During the winter, world-class skiing at a family-friendly resort beckons you, and in the summer, you'll find hiking, biking, and a host of other activities available at Whitefish Mountain Resort and beyond. Pine Haven in Ptarmigan Village is located a short drive to many local destinations including Glacier National Park and numerous lakes, rivers, state parks, hiking, and cross-country skiing trailheads.

Please come and have a good time, but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. No pets. No parties. No smoking is allowed on the property. Absolutely NO fireworks on Big Mountain.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. Tickets must be purchased to travel on Going-To-The-Sun Road from May through September.
