Beautiful home with great views of the lake! We enjoyed using the kayak and swimming off of the dock. The host was very responsive and friendly. We hope to come back again soon!

This is a spectacular place - one of the nicest cottages I have been to in Sault Ste. Marie. Would definitely rent again. Close to the city, beautiful lake and views, small beach for easy water entry. There are stairs down to the water and inside in case you have anyone in your party that might have challenges going up and down. We had a fantastic time - felt like home. Thanks to our excellent host!

This is a beautiful house. It was ideal for our family of 6, three generations. The kids (11 and 14) loved the swimming and fishing, as did my son and I. Tons of bass, and lots to do in the area, but we spent most of our time at the house. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Great place, great host. Absolutely stunning landscape and the house has a open, airy feel and modern while being cozy. Beds were all comfortable and the place was clean and welcoming. Super close for our skiing getaway.There were some issues due to low temps that were fully disclosed before our visit.

The property is great for hosting a bunch of friends to hit the mountain biking trails. We would highly recommend this spot for being on the water, and so close to amazing bike trails!!

We were staying for an event in Sault and we had a great stay. Almost impossible to find a better view & Jim was a fantastic host. Property was clean & had everything we needed. Would recommend this house 1000x over.

The place is very nice and very comfortable for the six of us.The view is also extraordinary.Our issues were that the oven didn’t work until we had to mess with the breaker box a few times.The dishwasher never worked.The grill needed a new tank installed it was extremely messy. Had to clean it in order to use it.The kitchen only had salt/pepper so not ideal if cooking.Again the place was great but the appliances didn’t measure up. We were told it will be fixed but until we were gone. Not ideal.

Apologies about the grill. We've spoken with our cleaner, and she'll make sure it's thoroughly cleaned for all future guests. Miss communication on my part. As for the appliances, both the stove and dishwasher appear to be working properly. We'll continue to keep a close eye on them, as the winters can be tough on appliances. Beautiful Lakeside Cottage

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this cottage. The place was clean and modern, and had a well stocked kitchen for cooking. A great view of the lake with lots of outdoor seating to take in the scenery. The location was perfect for our needs. Close to the city for amenities, but far enough away to give the cottage feel and to be a good base for exploring the beautiful area around Lake Superior.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway it has been a perfect vacation. I grew up in Upper Island Lake so I knew what to expect but my kids and grandkids were in awe. The house is beautiful, clean and decorated in a nautical theme which we loved! The stars at night were unbelievable, my grandkids swam everyday all day and we used the paddle board and kayak along with life jackets which was much appreciated. The BBQ wasnt clean but my son cleaned it up and we cooked the famous Pinos sausage Jim was a great host and vereything was thought of! The only thing missing was a small fireplace for roasting marshmallows but I can see there wasn't any space. I would recommend this place to everyone, even when it rained there is a large TV, games to play or you can to day dream out the windows while it rains. Its 15 minutes to town!! We also visited Hibbards Bay about 45 minutes drive down Hwy 17 towards Agawa Bay, stop an get a Apple Fritter at the Voyaguers Lodge! Or fresh white fish and chips. This was a perfect vacay with fresh clean water to swim in, a perfect little swim area for little ones and a diving doc for older kids or adults. The driveway is tricky cuz of the people driving down the road at full speed! 100% top notch place with so much to do or if you dont want to do anything just sit on the deck and enjoy the lake breeze and silence!! All the appliances worked well, no issues. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the fans in each room. Highly recommend this place

Great location and beautiful setting. Overall very happy with stay and cottage. Lots of room. Two suggestions to make better for future renters: 1) upstairs deck should have sides wire or cable lines also, for childrens safety', and 2) A/C would have definitely been a plus, the weather during the week was very humid so sleeping upstairs was a little uncomfortable. Thank you.

Beautiful Lakeside Stay

We truly can say we absolutely loved this place. We had eight in the group and there was tons of room! The beach area and dock were great for the kids as well as the adults. You wont find a better view than sitting on the massive porch that wraps the house. Jim was an excellent host. I cant say enough good things!! There is a cool little kayak to use, some life jackets and floating toys, we also brought 4 SUPs of our own. Thanks Jim you have a beautiful place here!!

Good place, soon to be great I'm sure

Newly remodeled and at first glance the place was great, although upon closer look there was a lot unfinished, a lot of smaller things inoperable. Guessing these are the final touches to the remodel. No hanging cabinets in the kitchen, several lights and outlets not working, hose bib and ice maker not connected. None of which were critical to the stay, just annoyances and/or inconveniences. Overall the place was very good, perfectly positioned on the lake and very private. Great open spaces, high ceilings, and very clean. Communication with the owner was great. He responds immediately. Watch out for the trip hazard on the dock, a small metal pole coming up about 6 inches. We put a bucket over it after my daughter tripped and fell off the dock. .

Gorgeous house on an even more wonderful lake. We loved it! Highly recommend. The only downside was the walk down to access the gorgeous water, but I believe the host is working on this. Wonderful property!

Beautiful, spacious, modern property right on the lake. Jim was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great for a group of people!(Note: The house gets a bit warm and humid on hot days, but there are fans in each room to help manage)
