Thank you for the wonderful review. We are so happy you had a great stay at Smooth Sailing. This lakefront complex is very special and unique to Lake Waccamaw offering an affordable, centrally located and nice place to stay. We own both sides of the road including the lake shore where the large deck welcomes you for morning coffee or an afternoon nap. Need sun or want to fish, the pier out on the water is perfect for those activities as well. When you decide to come back, if you have additional guests, several of the units are available to rent nightly, as well, making it a great location to have separate accommodations but still be able to spend time together while making great memories.

Thank you for letting us know the things you would have like to have changed during your stay. This will prove helpful when other guests with phyisical restrictions or elderly guests who look at a townhouse to rent realize that they almost always have their bedrooms on the 2nd floor. We have a very adequately sized HVAC unit at the home but do appreciate the suggestions made about the ceiling fans. Future guests, there are just 2 outside steps to enter the main level. The back door only has one step. The beds are a little high but the tradeoff has been to have a large amount of storage underneath during longer stays and many guests have appreciated being able to tuck their luggage and event gear under the kings beds. I guess if you are under 5' 3" or under, you might bring a step stool? I am 5' 4" and have had no difficulty. I have loved being able to read my book and look over the lake from the primary bedroom. Thank you for the 5 star review. That was much appreciated. As you may have guessed, we have city water from the town of Lake Waccamaw. I was not alerted to a break or line fix during your stay from any source, so I did not know of a disruption. It sounds like it was temporary and for that I am thankful.
