When I arrived at the lobby of the apartment, the desk security knew nothing of my arrival. The phone number of the host was not answered when called. Trying to resolve this VRBO staff could not contact the host. I was then refunded my payment which hardly compensated me being left standing in the lobby with my suitcase in a foreign country to find another place to stay. I will soon check to see if this host is still offering to rent their unit. If they are then it means that VRBO isn’t doing their job to manage who can rent with them.
