This spacious 3-bedroom cabin features two king suites, a private hot tub, WiFi and two decks overlooking the treetops and cliff lines. Ideal for families or groups, it’s just a short drive from Red River Gorge adventures while feeling worlds away from it all.

The Space:
Escape to Wild Turkey Overlook, a serene retreat surrounded by trees and sandstone cliffs. Designed for relaxation and gathering, this modern cabin offers two levels of comfort and privacy with thoughtful touches throughout.

Main Level
- Two king bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom
- Full kitchen with bar seating for four and standard drip coffee maker. We provide filters, guests provide their own coffee
- Open living space with Smart TV and electric fireplace
- Large windows framing the surrounding forest views
- Access to the upper deck with outdoor seating for relaxing and dining
- Washer and dryer

Lower Level
- Second living room with Smart TV and queen sleeper sofa
- Separate queen bedroom
- Shared full bathroom
- Direct access to the lower patio and hot tub area

Exterior
- Two spacious decks, one covered for shade and one open for stargazing
- Private hot tub surrounded by forest views
- Charcoal grill, guests are asked to provide their own charcoal and lighter fluid
- Fire pit with Adirondack chairs for evening gatherings. Guests provide their own firewood
- Peaceful, secluded setting with no visible neighbors
- Private, pull through parking area at the cabin for up to four cars
- Conveniently located in Shawnee Run, just a short drive from Red River Gorge trails, climbing, and local dining

Other Things to Note:
RRG Getaways provides a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry powder, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.

- Pets are not allowed and we cannot make any exceptions.
- The cabin sits off a very well maintained gravel road, there is no need for special cars to arrive and the drive to the cabin is mostly flat.
- The WiFi is good and cell service is good as well.
- The cabin utilizes a well for water, we change the filters frequently and it is considered safe for all uses. Some people prefer to bring their own drinking water, although this is not necessary.
- The cabin is accessible well maintained gravel roads, 4WD is not required.
- We provide a starter amount of shampoo and body soap.

This was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and one of the best places I've booked. Very clean and plenty of space for our group of four. We loved the deck and view watching the sunset each night. The kitchen has just about everything you could need to cook if you wanted to stay in and cook dinner. The hot tub was also a favorite and the patio made it perfect for us to enjoy a movie with the projector. We also enjoyed our time at the fire pit. Would definitely recommend and come again.

We stayed here to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice! The home was spacious enough for everyone to spread out comfortably, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we loved being so close to the lake—renting boats was quick and easy.The only minor hiccup was that our GPS initially directed us to the back of the property, but once we figured that out, everything went smoothly. The cabin is close to others, yet it still feels private and peaceful. It was also convenient that our extended family could find places to stay nearby.We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this place!

This was absolutely perfect. It was clean, roomy, 2 large decks with a great view, a large bottom floor perfect for privacy of others . The kitchen was very nice, along with the rest of the rooms. Bedrooms having their own doors for access of the decks was a major plus. Will stay again.

Had a blast and the place was awesome! Very clean and well kept. We did have one problem with the key pad not working correctly and we were locked out. Someone came quickly after we called and let us in and replaced the batteries but it still didn't work properly so she left us a key. Hopefully they replace the keypad. Other than that our stay was amazing.

House was beautiful. Hot tub was great. The only thing that was not great was getting fdown to the house. Stairs were steep and with the rain we had all weekend kind of difficult. Maybe adding a photo into the listing would help gage if it is accessible to certain people. But overall we had a good atay.

Great place for our trip

We had people from 10 months- 70 years. Very beautiful and secluded. The hot tub and fire pit were great. The gravel walk was a bit tricky for my 70 year old mom, but very doable. The electric fireplace was the only part that wasn't great for our group. The on button was at the perfect height for the baby to push. Not a bad thing, but definitely something to be aware of if you have young children

Amazing Stay!!!

What you see is what you get with this property! It is amazing, well designed and thought out! We stayed over spring break with a family of 6. There was plenty of space and lots to do in the area. We spent our time hiking many trails, zip lining and kayaking; as well as grilling several nights in and eating out as well. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and had bonfires 2 nights we were there. Firewood is not provided but it sold everywhere in the area. The only complaints I may have is more towels since there is a hot tub, otherwise just bring laundry soap or you will be using hot tub towels for bath towels as well…group size depending; and needed a few larger pans. Otherwise, the place is a dream. VERY private and wonderful views. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back!!! Thank you for an amazing stay!
