Also, visitors need to consider their health and be at peace with the current health care situations on the island, less than adequate. Do your research.

Wonderfully spacious and simple island home with comfortable second story primary suite with full bath, sitting area with kitchenette and open terraza with views of Sun Bay and the Caribbean Sea.

Coffee on the terraza with the morning sun glistening on the Sea is simply paradise calling your name. Groceries, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. A morning stroll to Sun Bay with a stop for your favorite breakfast on the Malecon on the way back, splendid indeed! Publicos (taxi) can take you anywhere on the island, and the tourist excursion can pick you up in Esperanza.

Great accommodations! We loved staying there!

This was a fantastic place to stay! Just a short walk to the Malecon for restaurants, shopping & nightlife. Private parking was nice since we rented a car for the week. Our family of 4 was comfortable in the upper level & the terrace was wonderful for eating out or relaxing in the evening. We used the induction cooktop for breakfast & lunch & found a different nearby restaurant every night. We all really enjoyed a paddleboard/snorkeling excursion and the horseback riding was amazing and the bioluminescent bay boat tour was incredible! Relaxing at Sun Bay was wonderful and we explored most of the other beach areas also - each location was unique. I've recommend staying at La Terrazzo to friends & family. It's a great place to stay & the island is fabulous.

Simply amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole house this time! We have been here when only the upper unit was available ~ and that is fantastic for a couple. The upper open terraza is wonderful at night for star gazing or rolling over and waking to the sun rising and the Caribbean sea sparkling! Breakfast on the covered porch downstairs, utilizing the full kitchen, was great! So cool and protected from the sun. We took long walks on the beach, just blocks from the house! We road mountain bikes into some deeper secluded beaches, and then relaxed on the dock in Esperanza at sunset. We walked to restaurants, slept in late, and the neighborhood was quiet ~ well, there are some roosters, but we got used to them! We did not even need the AC with the breezes flowing through. We will definitely come again ~ and bring friends too! Plenty of room! Oh and the place has gotten a fresh coat of paint and most of the small appliances are all brand new!

Simply amazing & Truly relaxing

We had the whole house to ourselves this time! We have stayed here before just on the top flat, which has the amazing open terraza ~ great for star gazing. We made breakfast in the full kitchen downstairs and enjoyed cool morning breezes on the covered porch. We took long walks on the beach (only 5 minute walk to beach which connects you to SUN BAY), snorkeled almost everyday, road bike back into some remote beaches, viewed amazing sunsets from the dock in Esperanza and had quiet evenings at the house. If we wanted to eat out, we walked 5 minutes and had a choice of several restaurants along the Malecon. All at a reasonable price! The house has a fresh coat of paint, new small appliances and kitchen ware, and was sparkling clean :) The owners are interested in their property and are continually upgrading, we see new and improved areas each time we return. This house is good for couples, families, and groups of friends. It could sleep 8 easily, if renting the studio portion of the upper level as well. Can rent as 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom; or 1 bedroom upper suite only; or studio (casita) apartment .
