Our beach house is less than 200 yards from the beach, with an ocean view from second-floor balcony. Bedrooms are on first and third floors, and the kitchen and living room, with a balcony, are on the second floor. The house sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. You can walk to restaurants, shops and York's Wild Kingdom. Surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking and horseback riding are all within 10 -mile radius. The house is a short drive to outlet shopping, malls and movie theaters. NOTE: There is no cable television service at the property, but the television is a SMART TV, and there is WiFi for internet service.

Wonderful beach house in York!

Property was as advertised- quick walk to beach with deck that has views of the ocean. The property was so clean when we arrived- and so much closer storage which is great when you are staying for a week! Bathrooms on each floor easy access to laundry. Dead end street was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes! Quick walk to dairy bar and Stones Throw restaurant and even to York Beach Beer Co! Great location for family vacation!

Beach house vacation

Amazing location, short walk to the beach, shops, and town. Quiet area with the amazing sounds of the ocean! Plenty of space for our group of 9.. (5 adults and 4 kids) The house was very clean and well-stocked! Very comfortable! Loved being able to take morning walks on the beach without having to drive and find parking. Easy walk to the town where you can find restaurants, ice cream, and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed for two years at Frank's property and have loved the house and location. It is truly a home away from home and we appreciate all the little touches and details they consider. This house is an ideal location on a nice quiet street right near the beach where the house is situated at the end of the street with a beautiful view of The ocean. The layout of the house is incredible and so appropriate for a beach house! Lots of windows and light with all modern conveniences and bedrooms on 2 different floors and 3 bathrooms which is a bonus. You can walk to anything you need!!

This house had everything!

We have been staying in York Beach every year since I was born. We tried this house because my husband’s brother and teen son were joining us from Michigan. This house was neat, clean, had toys for my kids, (6&8), a very well stocked kitchen, a view of the ocean from two floors and more! It took us less than five minutes to walk to the beach and back. Easy check in and out. We will return!

We were hesitant because the pics made it seem small. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed this place. With 5 adults and 5 kids, we were very comfortable. It is clean, an easy walk to the beach, and the street is quiet. This house is equipped with everything you need. This is our 8th year renting, and our 4th house. Our favorite yet! Thank you Frank!! Hoping to rent for next year!

We love this property, this was a return trip - homeaway did not send us the door code and no one from homeaway was reachable - we called and text owner and prior to response realized a back window was open, screen easily raised and a smaller member of our group was able to gain access and unlock front door. Peggy responded within the hour and gave us the back door code. The new floors are beautiful however the cleaning crew did not vacuum or wash floors throughout. The toilets were not cleaned nor the upstairs shower. I vacuumed but did not wash floors immediately. I am telling you this not to complain as we really do appreciate the ability to rent this space, I am telling you so you can address with homeaway and with the persons you hire to clean. The tank of propane for the grill was empty, we did switch it over. We look forward to next year. Beth and Rick

Had a great stay on long sands, the house was very clean and easy to use three bathrooms were key even when there was only four of us. The neighborhood was quiet especially considering how close it is to the beach. Just book it!

Wonderful trip to Maine

We had a very good time on our first trip to Maine. We only had one or two concerns or questions and Frank was very good at communicating quickly. The house was very well-stocked and a very easy stroll to the beach. This location had lots and lots of restaurants to choose from.
