About this property
A perfect fit for someone looking for a unique and authentic Wallace experience.
Is a truly historic Wallace building turned boutique hotel in the middle of an outdoor mecca and a whole town on the National Historic Registry. It is situated in the heart of town, surrounded by the serene mountains around Wallace and within walking distance to everything in town. The Jade backs up to the Historic Wallace Depot Museum and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes, running from Mullan to Plummer, ID. The best restaurants and shopping start just across the street!
The Jade Boutique Hotel is the ENTIRE second floor of a 1913, three-story brick building. Like nearly all the buildings in Wallace, this building is on the national register of historic places.
The second floor is very large. It includes four bedrooms, a full kitchen and a dining area., 1.5 bathrooms, and unmatched views of the mountains from your bedroom windows. There is plenty of street parking, as well as a public parking lot behind the building, next to the Northern Pacific Railroad Museum park.
Please note that this is a fun, original, quirky building with LOTS of history (at one time or another since 1889, this site was a hotel, saloon, restaurant, and/or brothel that was very lively during westward expansion, early railroad building, mining booms and busts, mining wars, prohibition, natural disasters, and more!).
The Jade is a perfect fit for someone looking for a unique and authentic Wallace experience. It is situated in a place with ample parking and access to all the outdoor activities, bike trail, and walking around this lovely town.
