Bayside Oyster is centrally located on the beautiful Apalachicola Bay on Saint George Island. The house backs up to the estuary and affords a charming view with stunning sunsets. Bayside Oyster features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is a great space for families or small groups. The different levels afford a variety of spaces for everyone to be separate and together at the same time. Double decker balconies provide outdoor relaxation space, and Bayside Oyster is a two-minute walk to the beach at The Blue Parrot. It is also a one minute walk to the sweet concoctions at Island Espresso, the Art of Glass, or tasty desserts at Island Adventures. It is a one minute walk to shops, groceries, and dining. Kayaking is available next door at Journey’s. You are truly in the heart of SGI. We accommodate pups 20 pounds or smaller for short-term rentals but can accommodate larger pups for MONTHLY rentals. Pet boarding, dog grooming, and doggy day care are available nearby. This property has been an established rental with over 75 rankings of 5. We are the grateful new owners. Two vehicle parking is available on site. If you are seeking a respite from the rigors of the world, this is a haven. Restore your spirit in a natural sanctuary.

Gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Set both HVAC units to 78 in summer, 62 in winter.
Secure sliding glass door. Secure and check Schlage lock at entrance.
Leave park-style grill clean, cooled and covered.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Small dogs (20 lbs.) are allowed with the $250 fee for short-term rental. Large dogs are accommodated for MONTHLY rentals ONLY. STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Do not exceed the maximum occupancy limit of 6 people. Respect the septic.
Electric cars must be charged at the free local station.

What a beautiful property! Clean, stocked with necessities, and centrally located to key areas of interests on the island. Highly recommend this property! Make sure you are prepared for stair climbing-great way to balance out all the relaxing you will do at the beach and at the screened porch overlooking the bay!

The house is great location, could use new beds and mattesses, ice maker didnt work. New shower heads as well. Air conditioner worked great! Pleanty of room for 8 people. Over all would stay again. And would recommend! Love SGI!

My husband is a former football coach, turned athletic director, and I am an English teacher. We are from Georgia and have two daughters. SGI is special to our family, and we feel like everyone should enjoy the island.

Why they chose this property

SGI is a tranquil and beautiful spot here on Planet Earth. The bay feels magical to me. It is full of beauty and life. I can sit on the deck and watch the kayakers while drinking my coffee or throw on my flips flops and walk next door to Paddy's Raw Bar. Everything is accessible by foot.

What makes this property unique

Bayside Oyster is not super fancy, but it is fun! There are four beds and three rooms--along with three bathrooms. The various areas of the house, the two covered decks, and the fenced back yard provide ample room for everyone to spread out while sharing an experience in a special place. Being able to watch the water--even on a rainy day, makes it feel like a little spiritual retreat.
