La Paloma Beach and Tennis Club is located in Rosarito Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The complex stretches across 15 acres with lush gardens and tranquil courtyards.

La Paloma understands your need to feel secure while you are walking the grounds and provides 24 hour security, including guard gated access to the resort.

Enjoy a walk, jog or horseback ride on the beach. For surfers, there are excellent surf spots all along the coastline.

For shopping fanatics there are many fine shops, street vendors and flea markets in town, less than 1 mile from La Paloma. You can find excellent Mexican wine from the Guadalupe Valley at a local wine shop. For the more adventurous, drive south about 50 miles to the Guadalupe Valley for a day of wine tasting at local wineries.

The cozy 1 bedroom unit provides an excellent ocean view from the balcony. Linens and soap are provided as well as 1 gallon of bottled water and coffee. All you need to bring is your swimsuit!

Great Time

Had an amazing stay. The unit is really nice has everything you need an a great view to the beach. The complex is beautiful the landscaping is so nice and the restaurant is a big plus with great food and great service. Thank you to the owner Chris for a great stay. We will definitely be coming back to use your place and visit Rosarito again.

The condo was just perfect, just a couple of steps from the beach and you can hear the sound of the waves! The place was clean and had a lot of amenities that are always a must! From blankets, pillows, kitchen items, everything! We want to come back during the summer!

Stayed at this condo again for the 3rd time, the views from the balcony are incredible. Everything was very clean, linens, bedding, the condo was overall very clean. They still have a very nice strong fan in the living room and added the sofa bed which was quite comfortable. I was looking forward to the queen size bed and it did not disappoint, it is amazingly comfortable. It was nice that they added a small fan to the bedroom. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the cable was not working very well in the living room but good in the bedroom. Yes, I know we didn't come to Rosarito to watch T.V. but to wake up early morning with a cup of coffee or late night relaxing at the end of a day is when we watch T.V. Other than for that reason, the 1 bedroom is very comfortable and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place or family orientated condo

There will be NO wifi or A/C in your unit. I read it in a review and still rented the property thinking that my unit would have Wi-Fi it did not. it also did not have air conditioning so when we arrived the unit was very hot. The staff is not friendly or helpful. expect strict rules and fines if you do not obey them. this place is no good for people who smoke. The standard fine is 100 dlls. I saw 2 families get fined for stupid stuff like kids in the jacuzzi.

Deeply Disappointing

I’m disgusted by this rental. The WiFi does not work and I came here for a quiet place to work. The ad clearly states WiFi is available. Only the “community” WiFi is an option and it is out of service. There was a box of bathroom garbage on the kitchen counter. There are several light bulbs missing most importantly — the bedroom had absolutely no working light. I had to take the lamp from the living room, leaving THAT room with no light. All but one of the 4 bathroom vanity lights are out and it reeks of urine. The sheets have 2 gigantic stains on them. I had to strip the bed and sleep in a sleeping bag I luckily had in my car. I have nowhere else to go this weekend and a lot to get done. I’m paying almost $500 to be unhappy and do repairs for this owner. I was given the wrong number for a local contact and in fact, the wrong number is still in the welcome letter I was sent. Update: the next morning, I was able to take the lamp into the kitchen, inspect it, and found the plug completely corroded, I use a knife to scrape off some of the corrosion and got the lamp to function. Update 2: I was finally contacted by a local person who works for the owner who told me to change the sheets and lightbulbs myself…!!! Stay away.

Nice Property with View, but... be Aware of a Few Things

The property itself was nice with a lovely ocean view from the balcony. The security and staff on the property are very friendly and good. Nice walking pathway along a private beach. Location is centrally located to Rosarito. About a 20-30 minute drive to Puerto Nuevo. The condo unit itself is rather dated and can definitely use some TLC. I am basing my review on the cost per night, and for what is charged it is a good enough value. That said, it was found in clean condition and well appointed as far as dishes, microwave, etc. However, don't count on Keurig pods, they were not stocked. My biggest complaint is that I checked with the owner prior to booking and even a 2nd time after booking to confirm that there was wifi available in the unit. I needed to work a bit some mornings/evenings. I was advised it was just okay and not to plan on Zoom meetings. That for that sort of thing the clubhouses were better suited. I only needed to check email and some light internet connectivity. The wifi in the unit itself NEVER worked. I advised the property manager as well. The one clubhouse closest to the unit I was able to get 4-5 mbps. Even that in the unit would have been nice. When I contacted the owner about it I never received a reply about it. Looking at some other reviews this has been noted from as far back as 2014 & 2019. Advertising wifi in the unit when it is not isn't right. The bed itself is comfortable. I suggest bringing your own pillow(s) if that sort of thing matters to you. Go into the rental understanding what it is and that for the $$ it's a decent value. Be okay without wifi in the unit and you should have a good time.

We expected the unit to be older and outdated but were surprised to find items such as a front door so old that it didn't shut/lock properly and had a large gap where you could see light right through it. The dust on the fan was so thick we didn't dare turn it on, and since the AC didn't work we tried opening the kitchen window and balcony slider to get a cross draft but there was no window screen. We were also disappointed to find out that the only WIFI available is at the clubhouse, not in the unit itself which is surprising since it seems to indicate otherwise in the listing. I messaged the host about several items and not once received a response which is my first experience like that with a VRBO. On a positive note, the community itself is well maintained and has a beautiful view and relatively easy access to the private beach. The pools are very small and crowded which is not the vibe we were looking for but I'm sure it's great for some travelers. It wouldn't take a lot for this property to be 5 star. Some maintenance/repairs/touch ups and better communication would go a long way. A few tips: if you're driving, bring some beach chairs and towels since the ones at the unit are not really meant for the beach. If you're not driving, we found that Uber costs half as much as the taxis. Bring some rackets if you like tennis or I believe there may even be lines on the courts for pickleball but don't quote me on that. :)

Poor communication with owner He said there were beach chairs, keurig pods provided. We only found 2 patio chairs not very comfortable to carry to beach. No pods. Owner reimbursed $20 but No pods available at the market. Ended up buying instant coffee. 😩. We could have taken own chairs and pods if correct information was provided. On the cleanliness, drawers and cupboard disorganized and dirty. Everything else was good.

We had been vacationing in Rosarito for years and were frequently frustrated when we could not find a rental on the dates we wanted. Now we can relax on the beach whenever we want and want you to enjoy the beach too!

What makes this property unique

One of my favorite things to do is to sit on the balcony with my morning coffee and watch the ocean for dolphins swimming by the local tide pools. Then it's in to town for $1 tacos. Delicious!
