Enclosed lush garden with mature flower and fruit trees, gated and walled for complete privacy. Ground floor includes a full bedroom with bathroom ensuite, a double and single bedroom with shared bathroom, outdoor terrace overlooking front garden at ground level. The main floor has the master bedroom with bathroom ensuite and an exit to the terrace. The living/dining room leads onto the main floor terrace with 2 chaise longue, mosaic coffee table, planters and movable outdoor BBQ grill. The formal dining table seats eight, and the living room has two white sofas, an armchair, coffee table, television, radio/cd/ipod player, a woodstove insert fireplace for winter use, and full internet access. The large fully equipped foodie kitchen has a dining table for 4, and leads onto an outdoor breakfast nook table on the terrace. For outdoor dining there is a rock patio elevation with a table and chairs for eight people. There is also a protected corner with seating for 4-6 and coffee table on the ground level. At the end of the back garden there is a laundry area, walled off from the garden with a closet containing washer/dryer, sink, fridge, and cleaning material area. There are lines for outdoor fresh air drying, all contained behind the laundry wall covered in bouganvilla and a flowering tree (Dama de Noche) which fills the garden with fragrance during the evening hours. The beach, considered the best in Marbella, is a 5 minute walk from the house down a tree lined street. The great advantage of this is that there is no need to use a car to go to the beach. The pristine beach has a 'chiringuito' beach restaurant and you can rent beach chairs with umbrellas for a small fee. The house is accessible for anyone using a wheelchair, with a ramp leading to the main floor from the ground floor. In one of the downstairs bedrooms, the ensuite bathroom is accessible for a person with a disability with a wheel in shower, hand rails, sink to accommodate a wheel chair, and an shower seat. The pool is shared by our small community of eight homeowners sorrounded by lush garden it is exposed to full sun most of the day just throw your towel on the manicure grass and enjoy a swim.

Great stay, everything was in place, no need for extra shopping. Beds slept vert good. Nice swimming pool for exercise. Can really recommend this place.
Beautiful villa with a short walk to the beach. Has access to a pool which we had to ourselves all week. Villa fully equipped for the needs of adults and children.

This family owned property as you will see, is something we want to share purely for upkeep reasons. My wife is an educational advocate for people with disabilities, and I am a commercial photographer. We have four children, including twins who have cerebral palsy and are wheelchair users. We all use the property, sometimes together or separately.
Why they chose this property
The house was first occupied by my wife's mother in 1974 and all of us came to know and love the area. We all speak Spanish now, and love the local culture, food, and have many friends who live permanently in the area or come to Marbella for their holidays.
What makes this property unique
The area the house is located in benefits from what is known as a 'micro climate'. Surrounded by mountains, Marbella benefits from 325 days of sunshine a year, so it is a wonderful place at anytime of the year. Walking to the beach without taking a car is a luxury, leaving towels on the beach chairs and coming home for lunch - then returning to the beach! For folks who like to play golf, you can walk onto the golf course from the house or drive to the clubhouse for lunch. There are 8 community members who use the pool, which has it's own garden with spectacular views of the mediterranean. Oftentimes we are the only persons using the pool. There are many amenities at Los Monteros urbinization/hotel, such as a beach club, tennis, olympic pool, all which can be accessed for a small fee or temporary membership. You can walk along the beach from our house to Los Monteros beach club, or drive to the hotel in a couple of minutes. The house is in a small cul-de-sac so only homeowners and their guests use the street.
