Lakeside Haven: Scenic Wooded Trail to Quiet Cove

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin in the woods that overlooks the lake and backs up to Lake Texoma State Park for a short wooded and seemingly private walk to a serene quiet cove on the largest lake by volume in the state!

Immediately around the cape that forms one side of the cove is Catfish Bay, overlooked by Catfish Bay Marina and the Lake Texoma State Park campgrounds. Just down the lake in the opposite direction is Alberta Creek Marina. We sit in a quiet spot between.

Sleeps 9 total, including 5 in the oversized master, where we have a king bed at one end and a bunk bed at the other, with a double/full mattress on bottom and a single/twin mattress on top, then 2 adults in the second bedroom where we have a queen, plus another 2 more on the queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.

All areas of the house are here for your private use, except for the separate garage building, which is inaccessible to guests, and the locked closet in the master bathroom.

Great location with a trail to the lake. All the comforts of home and awesome outdoor seating with lots of comfortable seating, grill and fire pit. Very close to two boat ramps. We are looking for another opportunity to come and stay again! Went fishing with a guide, Justin Parker. Fan boat on the river and caught our limit. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a great getaway!

Peaceful Place

Loved the outdoor space! There is a fabulous deck and a screened in porch area, as well. The house is comfortable and the surrounding area is peaceful and quiet. We walked the path to an inlet of the lake everyday. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Lake Texoma Stay

Chris was very informative through the whole process. He emailed me right away then gave us locations we could go. He mentioned Taylor's beach which we did go to and it was so much fun. The pictures of the house does not do it justice it is so nice and smelt so good. The road going to the house was not what us Kansans are used to but we liked that is was kinda secluded. Thank you Chris for everything!
