About the host

Hosted by Tiffany Hoffmann

Host profile image
Born and raised in the heart of Central Pennsylvania, I developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the landscape and the rich history that surrounds me. After tying the knot with my husband, a native of this area, I made the decision to put down roots and call this community home.

With a background in architecture and construction, my passion for design and building has been ingrained in me from a young age. I've always been drawn to the charm of old buildings and the stories they hold within their walls. It pains me to see these structures abandoned or demolished, their potential wasted.

Driven by a desire to breathe new life into these forgotten gems, I've dedicated myself to the art of rehabilitation. Whether it's restoring a historic home to its former glory or repurposing a neglected building into a vibrant space, I find joy in the process of transformation.

But my journey doesn't stop there. As a hostess with the mostess, hospitality runs deep in my veins. There's nothing I love more than helping others create memories that will last a lifetime. Some of my fondest moments revolve around family trips and gatherings, where laughter fills the air and bonds are strengthened. These are the moments that remind me of the importance of creating spaces where people can come together, relax, and make memories that will never be forgotten.

So whether I'm renovating a property or welcoming guests into our home, my mission remains the same: to provide a warm and inviting environment where everyone feels like family. After all, life is made up of moments, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to play a small part in helping others

Why they chose this property

The Uswick Schoolhouse is located in you guessed it Uswick, but you won't find that on the map. It can get a little confusing but the Post Office says we are in Lakeville, even though if you live on the other side of the street they say you are in Hawley but I digress. Lakeville is a great neighborhood because you are so close to everything in the area but far enough away to enjoy a little peace & quiet.

What makes this property unique

What makes our rental property truly unique is its rich history and charming character as a renovated 1800's schoolhouse, nestled in the heart of the picturesque area of Lake Wallenpaupack. Stepping into our property is like stepping back in time, yet with all the modern comforts you desire.

One of the standout features of our property is its perfect blend of proximity and seclusion. While it's conveniently located close to all the attractions and activities that Lake Wallenpaupack has to offer, it's also strategically situated away from all the communities with houses and people very close, providing a serene and tranquil retreat for our guests.

Moreover, the Uswick Schoolhouse exudes a quiet coziness that is hard to find elsewhere. With carefully curated décor that pays homage to its historic roots while offering contemporary comforts, every corner of our property tells a story and invites you to unwind and relax.

Whether you're curling up with a book by the firepit, exploring the nearby scenic trails, or simply enjoying the ambiance of our surroundings, the Uswick Schoolhouse offers an unforgettable experience that combines history, comfort, and tranquility. It's truly a place where you can escape the chaos of everyday life and create cherished memories with your loved ones.
