Chalet, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
My wife and I are retired and enjoy spending time with our two dobermans, Angus and Chloe. We enjoy antiquing, history, and nature. We put all these things together and came up with Junction Park. It has been a labor of love for us and I hope you will love it too.
Owner purchased this Chalet in 2003
Why Owner chose Verbena
Verbena is a great little town and we fell in love with the property's natural beauty and privacy. It is conveniently located to the interstate and bigger town attractions, but still has the 'get away' appeal. Clanton has a golf course, dining, antiques and open flea market twice a week, and the famous Peach Park. Two large lakes are close to the property.
What makes this Chalet unique
You can take your shoes off and walk down the running stream, have a picnic on the wrap around porch, or find yourself a secluded spot in the woods to listen to the birds and wildlife. You can ride your bicycle down the quarter mile driveway or take a nature hike in the woods and never leave the property. A privacy gate keeps the grounds secluded. A large BBQ grill is available if you are in the grilling mood with several dining tables available on the porch. There is a flower garden in back of house with arbors and sittings areas for your enjoyment. You might want to enjoy a bath in one of the large antique claw foot tubs and just relax.

Loved it here
Its so beautiful and peaceful! Great place for a great price.
I rented this property for my bridesmaids and I to stay the night before my wedding. It was the perfect place to relax and have a little peace and quiet before a crazy wedding day! The property was beautiful and the accommodations were super comfy!
Beautiful home but water view is blocked
The home is beautiful and well appointed inside with many antiques and a well stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, there is nearly no unobstructed view of the water from anywhere near the home. To actually get to the streams you have to have the ability to climb over large rocks and walk through high grass and weeds. This is not friendly for middle aged people.
Thank you for the good review. We are so glad you had an enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, in the summer months, the tree foliage obscures portions of the two streams below. We are in the process of doing some additional weed eating to open up the sitting area next to the streams. The flower garden in the back of the house offers plenty of level walking for people who have limited mobility. We invite you to come and enjoy nature’s beauty at Junction Park .
Relaxing weekend away
The cabin is gorgeous and Janice was a joy to work with. So peaceful and relaxing. But only a few minutes from the nearest store. We definitely recommend her cabin and plan to return one day.
Thank you for the good review! It is a pleasure to have great guests like y’all. Please remember us for your future travel. We appreciate your business.
A slice of heaven.
We have stayed at Junction Park many times. It is our favorite getaway and we highly recommend it.
Peaceful and Beautiful
The house is lovely and charming, and the setting is just unbeatable! We absolutely loved it.
