Perfect for us.

Very nice apartment, close to town. The owners live in the attached house. They are wonderful people and work hard to make things nice. They provide lots of information about Split, including restaurants, walks, local sites, and history. Choosing this place to stay made the stay in Split especially nice.

The room is bright, the kitchen is good and the courtyard (where we spent most of our time when at home) is excellent. The only downside is the bathroom which is tiny, impractical (there's not even a hook for towels) and doesn't get cleaned through the two week stay. Otherwise, the apartment is pleasant, quiet, close to everything and the hosts are nice.

Great accommodation, close to everything, shops, bars, restaurant and nice beach not far. Owners Drazen and Antonija were excellent, everything was no trouble. Great stay, can’t fault.

Not ever having been in Split before, we were looking for a property that well-located, comfortable and clean. We could not have found a better unit! The location was perfect...just outside of the "old city", so it was quiet...but close to everything. Finding it was easy, check in was easy, and everything was as-advertised! The condition of the unit itself was "better than new". We couldn't find a single fault anywhere. Note that there is no microwave on site. We did not miss it, but if you are used to such a device you might want to inquire with the owners. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone, and hope to be back again soon.

Ideal location

We stayed four nights at Studio Lavender and were very happy with the property. It offers a great location around 5-10 mins walk from Old Town and it was fantastic to have our own facilities and space at the end of a long day sightseeing. Would definitely stay again if we ever return to Split again the the future 😄

Clean, studio apartment in great location

Sleeps 3 but most comfortable for 2. All essentials available in the apartment. Owners were really helpful and had great communication (they live next door but we barely saw them). Really good location 10mins from Split old town and Marjan forest park and within reach of plenty of pebble beaches and the harbour. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Un petit bijou de studio,très joli et bien agencé, dans une partie de la ville ancienne et pittoresque.Colline boisée et mer à deux pas, ainsi qu'un accès direct au centre ville.Pas besoin de voiture.Enfin , des propriétaires charmants et attentifs.On a adoré.

5 star studio for 2 superbly located in old Split

In a quiet location just steps from central Split and the Riva is a cosy, spotlessly clean studio for 2 with its own patio. All you need for an excellent break/holiday. Antonija and Drazen are excellent hosts and always ready to help and advise with local information. Nice to know that they are only next door! Thanks to both for a great holiday.

a beautifully presented and comfortable apartment in an ideal position to explore Split.

The hosts Antonija and Drazen go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with lots of information about nearby amenities (5 minutes walk from a bakery, convenience store and a specialist beer shop!) and less expensive recommended restaurants serving traditional Dalmation food (10 mins walk). The apartment is really well equipped with everything you need to cook the delicious produce from the markets with the family's own olive oil and make excellent coffee (thank you, Drazen!). The quieter beaches of Split are easily accessible on foot from the apartment. All in all, Lavender Apartment is a total delight!

Pleasant stay in a quiet street close to the Riva

This apartment is ideal for two or for a couple with a child. My friend and I stayed there in February during Split Half Marathon and we particularly liked that the apartment was 5 minutes walk from the start. We had clean towels and linen at our disposal. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, kettler, toaster, kitchenware is nice. Washing machine and hair dryer are available, the closets are spacious. Apartment is furnished with taste in white and grey colors. Antonia and her husband were very warm and welcoming hosts. We had a wonderful stay, everything in the apartment was in perfect order. We would definitely come back.

A friendly reception awaits you at Lavender Studio

The city of Split is a little gem. Big enough to have an airport, small enough to explore on foot, rugged hills form a backdrop to a natural harbour protected by numerous offshore islands. The setting is stunning. We travelled in late October and hoped to swim and to explore the Roman palace and camp. We were not disappointed; Diocletian's Palace is not a relic but the beating heart of a thriving old town. Lavender Studio is about 10 minutes walk from...everywhere. The fishmarket, veg market, palace, buses, shops and restaurants are all within an easy stroll. Be warned, though, that this is a place for people with good legs and proper shoes. The studio is a up a gently sloping path and is compact and beautifully maintained. Everything was spanking new and immaculate. The kitchen was obviously on the small side but as seafood freaks we managed. Local tuna, mussels, prawns, squid, clams and sardines all hit the pan, served with soft black olives and the local golden sherry-like wine. The owners of Lavender Studio could not have been more welcoming. Like many Croations they towered above us but there was nothing high-handed in their manner. Rather, they made us feel very welcome from the outset and we left with a desire to return. A summary? Split is not a place for clubbers or those seeking to grab a sun-lounger by the pool. Sadly, a cruise liner did dock and ruin the view but the inmates were given a quick stroll in an orderly line which was at least humane. The city is ideal for amateur and professional Classicists, lovers of wholesome rustic food, swimmers, cats and those who lean more towards Puglia than the Costa Brava. Lavender Studio provides a great little base for a mobile couple with no more than a toddler in tow. 5 stars are denied because of a lack of sea views and a lovely but shady patio; we want to return in the warmer months and swim several times a day.

Beautiful appartment near city centre and beach(es)

My 4-year old son and I had a great stay in this beautiful one room appartment. It's a very well maintained appartment (looking brandnew), small but with everything you need. In front of the appartment is a nice patio where you can sit as well. The appartment is very well situated close to Marjan Park (so located a little bit up hill..), the city centre, harbour and beaches, but still in a quite neigbourhood. There are several little supermarkets, a bakery and lots of restaurants close by. And for the ones with children: a nice playground on a 5 minute walking distance :) Antonija and Drazen are lovely people and very helpfull hosts. We had a great stay in Split; I could really recommand this appartment to anyone.

Fantastic from start to finish!!!

Just back from a wonderful stay at Studio Apartment Lavander. The apartment was amazing. It was spotless and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. (Fully furnished including a smart tv, which came in extremely useful) Antonija and Drazen were perfect hosts. Drazen gave us lots of information on what to do while we stayed in Split. We were busy all day enjoying the city and all of its sights. Would definitely go back to Split and would definitely use the apartment. Thanks for a wonderful holiday, Sean and Amy

A all round fantastic apartment!

Stayed here and the apartment was amazingly clean, all modern facilities and is in a great location. Antonija and Drazen (owners) were extremely friendly and helpful both prior to arrival and during our stay. They met us in the town when we arrived and showed us to the apartment where they were happy to provide us with information about things to do and spoke excellent English. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby with it being a 10min walk into the centre.

A beautiful apartment

This was our third stay at the apartment and it is as immaculate to-day as when we first visited in 2012, the owners maintain it to a very high standard. It is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and everything is provided to ensure that your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The location is only a short stroll to the town centre and Riva in one direction and to the large marina in the other. If you wish you can also sit on the pleasant shaded patio and relax. The owners Drazen and Antonija are very helpful and do all that they can to ensure that you enjoy your stay. We travel extensively in Europe and this is without a doubt the best apartment that we have found, and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Howard and Christine (from Kibworth in the UK)
