About this property

This is a privately owned beachfront condo located inside the Velas Hotel Resort. You’ll get all the services of the hotel. Imagine yourself in the perfect location beachfront with marvellous open Bay of Banderas views from your spacious three bedroom/three bathroom condo of over 2,200 square feet. Completely rebuilt from top to bottom with all modern appliances, high-speed internet access, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a 3 piece water purification system (the water is sweet and good to drink right from the tap or refrigerator).

This private Velas Resort Hotel condo is part of the popular Velas Hotel Family and the Velas Resort in the Marina Vallarta area of Puerto Vallarta and includes an all-inclusive offering (it's 100% optional but available if you want to upgrade ... the cost various depending on the time of year but generally it's about 150 US Dollars USD) which you can ask about upon checking in at reception.

Enjoy the daily whales, dolphin and other sea-life right from your own private beach-oceanfront balcony with 180 degrees view of both the sunset, open ocean, downtown and Sierra Madre Mountains.

The Marina Vallarta area itself has white sandy beaches as well as a huge, massive boat marina with literally 40-50 restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk from your beachfront condo. It's also just a 10 minute walk over to the famous Sonora Grill Steakhouse. Naturally, from the Marina Vallarta you can go out on guiding fishing trips, depart to go whale watching, deep-sea fishing and many other ocean-sea activities.

You'll only be a short car ride to the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta and a visit to the world famous Malecon. Costco is only a 15 minute taxi ride and other large grocery stores such as Walmart, Chedrawi, Soriana y La Comer are either walking distance or a quick car ride away.

I'm originally from Vancouver, BC, Canada and my wife's original from Albacete, Spain. My children were raised in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and we've lived here for going on 25 years. I work in real estate in the Puerto Vallarta area and my nickname is Matt@Mexhome.

I love fishing both right off the shore in front of Velas Vallarta as well as deep-sea fishing when I get the chance. Since we're literally a 5-10 minute walk from the Marina Vallarta where the boats are moored you can also participate in those activities. I'll also leave my casting rod (if you request it from me) and real for you if you wish to fish off the shore (please bring your own lures).

I enjoy watching sports-news on the 75" 2023 Samsung 4 K Smart TV located in a perfect spot in the living room area of this beachfront 3rd level condo. It has full cable and internet service so you can either watch it mirrored from your smartphone or enjoy the cable channels provided by the hotel (most of them are in English).

I love playing the guitar and singing with my friends on the beach around a campfire. The beach out front of Velas is about an 8 out of 10. It's flat and on the white side as far as colour goes. You can both swim in it or just lounge around the beautiful area out front.

My kids are fluent in Spanish, English and French and of course the same can be said about my wife and I.

I love making people happy because it makes me happy.

Why they chose this property

The Marina Vallarta area where Velas is located has pretty much everything. If you'd like beach-ocean life, golf, dining out, walking around, this is the place for you. A couple of places you'll want to try if you're in to the dining out scene, are the Sonora Grill Steakhouse Restaurant, Doce Vita for pasta and Italian food and-or Champions Sports Bar and Grill located at the Marriott Hotel.

Now, the Marina Vallarta area itself also has beautiful walking areas. It has wide cantera style streets so there's plenty of space to walk or bike with tons of parking. If you're a jogger or biker it has about 6-8 kilometres (5 miles) of open beautiful areas to practice your sport. You're also only a 5-10 minute taxi ride to the airport and about 10-15 minutes to the downtown famous Malecon.

Grocery or regular shopping at the nearby Marina Plaza (about a 15 minute walk) in Soriana is perfect for last minute eating decisions or you can Uber it or taxi it over to Walmart and/or Costco (around 10-15 minutes driving away). Both taxis and Ubers are extremely affordable and in fact are recommended rather than renting a vehicle.

Marina Vallarta is the perfect mix of modern Mexico with old Mexico and is probably the safest zone in an already very safe area in the Greater Puerto Vallarta area.

What makes this property unique

This property is newly remodelled (actually it's been rebuilt). At this time (December 2023) it is simply the newest place in Velas. It has one of the most desirable locations you could possible look for or want since it's directly and strategically placed on the outermost part of the Velas Resort Community (literally a stone's throw from the ocean).

You can not only enjoy this private, spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in this lovely resort but you can also take advantage of all of the Velas Resort Hotel services if you so wish. You can have room-service. Bellboy service. Whatever service that the hotel offers can be yours. You can also upgrade to the All-Inclusive (this includes all food and beverages) for between 145-200 dollars per day. If you decide not to upgrade to the All-Inclusive package you will get a 35% discount at the restaurants located inside the Velas Resort.

Either way, you can either enjoy daily activity in luxury or tone it way back and get some peace and relaxation (to get away from it all).
