About this property

Our Cabins are new and well maintained, we opted to use a studio layout to increase the size of the 400 sq. ft area. A queen size bed, linens, and towels are provided for your needs. Each cabin has sofa, TV, induction range, refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee maker for our guest to use. We are set up to host two individuals per cabin but if you want to bring a sleeping bag there is room for a third person.
The cabins have spacious coverd back porch with seating for two so you can enjoy your coffee to the sounds of nature. Take a short walk to the bluffs and enjoy nature while roaming the trails.
Located next to Denny's Cove park, we have hiking trails out to the bluff. Foster Falls and Denny's Cove offer great hiking and climbing.
You can use us for a base if you are visiting the Adventure Off Road Park,Coalmont OHV Park, the Trials or just off roading in Sequatchie Cove, we off space for parking your trailors and trucks, you can unload here are drive up to the parks.
If you want to sneak into the city, Downtown Chattanooga is only 30 minutes away and you can visit the River Park, Climing Park, or just try one of the many place to eat in the downtown area.
There is a community general store a mile away this serves great pizza and burgers, so your food and drinks need are met.

So close to hiking spots

Great place, located less than a mile from the local hiking spots. New and clean, with plenty of room in the cabin. There’s an additional cabin beside the one 1 stay at if you have a group. We will be back!

About the host

We love hosting people from all around the world, we have a great rock climbing and hiking community that uses this area a great deal. We have had people tent camping on our property for a few years and they encouraged us to build them a more upscale place to stay for we filled their desire with Rockside Retreat.
We have been operating a small community store in the area for years so we have gotten to know many of the people who visit the area on vacations and truly enjoy the many stories people share. We tell everyone to drop in at the store and visit when you are staying on our properties.

What makes this property unique

We share the climinbing area with Denny's Cove State Park and we are only a mile from Foster Falls State Park. So the ease of access to these two areas make our property a prime area for visitors. There area also to OHV Parks in this area, so we have people who park their truck at our place and drive thier recreational vehicles to the parks. This ease of access is great.
