Great location quick to get to Tracy City or monteagle the lakes and waterfalls about plenty of hiking trails was an enjoyable stay the hosts were excellent and the property was as well
We will definitely be back, our stay was absolutely fantastic. We easily walked to the waterfall, which was breathtaking, and to the fairy forest. My kids and I loved the property and space, and our hosts were very informative and welcoming. 10/10.
Had a wonderful time exploring Grant and Becky’s beautiful property and surrounding hikes and waterfalls. We had everything we needed to unwind and relax. We felt welcomed and loved finding all the hidden gems, including the fairy forest at sunset.
Our weekend stay was nice, the property was beautiful. We didn't get to explore the trails and waterfall on site, but we did enjoy our stay. We came to Tracy city to ride our side by sides with friends at the Coalmont OHV Park.
The property is beautiful. We stayed in the eco-container home. I would have given a 10 but the main bed was so uncomfortable and squeaky, my back injuries flared. The pull out couch wasn’t better but I don’t expect much from a pull out. It has everything you need. Maybe pack an air mattress.
The private tour to the waterfall was fantastic! It had been raining for days and the ground was saturated and muddy, so he drove me to the falls in his electric 4x4. It was so beautiful I followed the creek to it later before sunset to see it again.
We loved our time here! I came solo with my 4 kids and Grant was so wonderful to show us around the property. The fall colors were popping big time and it was the perfect space to unwind after some big hikes. They are dog friendly and our dog loved this space too! We stayed in the Eco- Cabin and it was plenty big for our family of 5 + dog, everyone slept great! The fire pit was perfect for s'mores and kids had free range to run and play. Definitely will be back and brining friends!
The property was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for 2 of us. We loved walking the property.
Check in was a bit confusing. We were told we could arrive early, but then it seemed to be an inconvenience when we got there. I also did not realize the eco-cottage was attached to the owners' home. Not a problem, but off-putting at first when you think you will be more isolated.
Overall, good bargain for the price.
We enjoyed our stay so very much! It was a truly relaxing experience to get away from it all and get out in nature. Breathtaking nature scapes completely surround this cozy container cabin and it’s simple to get to from I24. Grant & Becky were amazing hosts welcoming us and showing us around to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed as well as taking time to show us their expansive nature haven on the Cumberland Plateau. We received an unexpected snow overnight and were greeted at nightfall with a huge “snow” moon. What a treat as we celebrated our wedding anniversary in the woods. If you need to breath and disconnect from the regular things and yet reconnect with nature this is the perfect place for that! We will be back soon!!
The property was beautiful, especially the waterfalls just a short hike away. The cabin was warm and comfortable with a fireplace that worked really well. We were expecting to have wifi for my computer so I could get some work done but, from NO fault of the owners, the wifi did not work. However, they brought us a DVD player so we would be able to watch movies at night. I am an avid reader.and was able to utilize their small library of books. The owners were BERY responsible to our needs. Overall it was a lovely experience renting this cabin.

The owners of the cabin were extremely nice. However, I feel the photos and description of the property and surroundings on the website are very deceiving. Unfortunately when I visited, there had been a drought and there were no flowing creeks or waterfalls. That was the whole reason for the trip. Although the owner has no control over the weather, it would have been nice to have been made aware in advance so that I could have possibly had an option to cancel. The map that is provided for walking /hiking the trails, is very confusing and hard to follow. I stayed in the eco container cabin, which was okay but if you're looking for more privacy, I don't suggest it, as it is just steps away from the property owners home. The bathroom light needs cleaning as it has 1/4 to 1/2 inch of dead bugs/moths in each of the 3 lights. Unfortunately, I would not return nor recommend.
Very unique, great place and location. Great little cabin made from containers and a fabulous location two minutes from a gorgeous waterfall. Welcoming hosts. Try it!
Great, clean and fun location. Hosts were helpful and kind. My daughter loved the loft bed! We had everything we needed! Hosts encouraged us to see the waterfall on property and I’m so glad they did. Such a cool addition to our trip. We will be back!
The container home was a very relaxing spot. The construction was fascinating. We saw many migrating birds and spent time photographing them on the covered porch. We walked to the waterfall on the property and went to a nearby waterfall at a state park. Both were beautiful! We went to The Caverns for two nights for concerts and it was about a 25 minute drive. The owners were very nice and helpful.
We jus stayed a few nights in the container home an really enjoyed it! Grant and Mrs Becky will definitely do everything possible to make sure you have a great stay
My mom, brother, and I had a lovely time at this property. If you are from a city and looking for a mountain escape but aren’t used to driving in mountains, this place is for you. The property itself is clean and pleasant, well-equipped, and very cozy. The fireplace is nice and warm and easy to use (just don’t blow out the pilot light!). Access to the property requires a drive up mountains but it is by no means treacherous; as a Florida girl who has driven through some really scary mountains on vacation in North Carolina, there is nothing to fear here. No sharp turns or scary drop offs on your way up. More importantly though, the TWO waterfalls on the property are so gorgeous, and if you’ve got decent boots, easily accessible. We had a fantastic time. Don’t even think about it, just go!
Homey and unique living space in a gorgeous natural setting
We felt so at home and at ease in this interesting cabin, during our honeymoon stay. And the land was absolutely beautiful. We walked through the woods and along the creek to the lovely waterfall and a dramatic overhang that gave us such a remarkable view of the land below. This place, both outside and inside, felt infused by a spiritual presence that was deeply refreshing. The hosts were kind and friendly, but respected our privacy during this special occasion. The uniqueness of the dwelling was a definite plus! We highly recommend this special place to those looking for a peaceful, beautiful setting for an excursion!
The shipping container was unique!! It was comfortable and just right for us. We spent four nights and the bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing! We spent the days chasing waterfalls and hiking trails. Check-in and check-out was easy. Communication with Grant was more than I expected and very welcomed. The best and most important thing of all, Grant welcomed my furbaby!!!
Best ever quiet beautiful vacation spot to be at. A nice spot away from the rat race and working.
Very friendly and nice people to work with. The cabin was very nice to stay in and interesting how it was made. Beautiful walks in the woods watching the waterfall and streams. We saw a few deer running in the wood as we walked.
