Meet Your Hosts: Ericka & Guillermo – Your Baja Adventure Insiders

Welcome to our home in San Pedrito, Pescadero, Baja Sur! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat, a family-friendly escape, or an adventure-filled getaway, we’re excited to share this special place with you.

We’re Baja explorers who have spent decades traveling the peninsula, from the wild Pacific to the calm Sea of Cortez. Guillermo is a Baja-born surf OG and deep-sea fishing captain who knows these waters, waves, and secret spots better than anyone. Ericka is a 25-year Baja expat who has built four homes here while exploring every corner of the region. We love discovering new places—whether it’s an untouched beach, the best taco stand, or catching marlin off a Jet Ski .

Our home is designed for relaxation, with ocean views, a private pool, and all the comforts you need. Fast WiFi keeps you connected if you need it, and the area is great for families—kids love cruising around in carts, exploring the beach, and visiting nearby farms.

We can be as involved as you like. Whether you want insider tips, adventure planning, or just a quiet space to unwind, we’re happy to help—or let you enjoy your privacy. We know Baja inside and out, from the best surf breaks to the top restaurants, local markets, and hidden getaways.

If you’re here to relax, explore, surf, eat, or road-trip through Baja, we’ll make sure it’s a trip to remember.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because it still feels like the old Baja—dusty dirt roads winding past farms and hidden homes, leading to quiet, uncrowded beaches. There are no pushy vendors, no towering resorts, just the sound of the waves and the occasional rooster crowing in the distance.

What I love most is the balance: the peace of small-town life mixed with just enough modern comforts. You can spend the morning surfing or fishing in crystal-clear waters, then grab a coffee from a local café where they still remember your name. The restaurants here are outstanding, blending traditional Mexican flavors with fresh, local ingredients, but without the pretense of big tourist towns. Nights are quiet, filled with the soft hum of cicadas, the occasional bonfire on the beach, and the sight of stars stretching endlessly across the sky.

This place is authentic. It attracts people who respect the land and the ocean, who value adventure and simplicity over luxury. It’s a place that inspires—whether it’s through the raw beauty of the landscape, the kindness of the people, or the endless opportunities to explore. Every day here reminds me why I came and why I stay.

What makes this property unique

What makes our property unique? It’s us. It’s this specific location. It’s the best street in the area—peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly positioned between adventure and relaxation. But beyond the setting, it’s the experience we bring.

We are a team—Guillermo, a deeply connected Mexican local, and Ericka, an experienced expat who knows Baja like the back of her hand. Between us, no one can unlock the real Baja like we can. Guillermo is a founding father of the Cerritos surf scene, one of the original surfers here before the world caught on. At Punta Lobos, he’s not just another fisherman—he’s a respected tournament winner, fishing alongside the local fleet. If you’re looking for a Magazine-worthy experience, from epic waves to deep-sea fishing, you’re in the right hands.

That said, we’re also pros at leaving people in peace. You’re absolutely welcome to opt in or out of whatever level of interaction feels right for you. Some guests want the inside scoop on surf, spearfishing, or where to find the best hidden beaches. Others just want a quiet escape, and we respect that fully.

Our street is its own little world—a mix of luxury homes and a mini farm with baby goats, a pug, and chickens, adding to the charm. It’s a place where you can hear the waves at night, where the stars feel close enough to touch, and where you can experience Baja at your own pace, whether that means chasing adventure or simply soaking it all in.
