About Nick Guise
Cathy comes from the New England area in America and Nick was born in England and came over to America in the early 80s. They both work in the Biotechnology field which is where they met in the mid 90s and have been happily married, and avid travelers ever since.
Nick Guise purchased this Villa in 2011
Why Nick Guise chose Basseterre
We first visited St. Kitts with friends in 2001 and stayed at the Reggae Bar & Grill on Turtle Beach which closed at 6pm every night, leaving us upstairs in the apartment to the sounds of the ocean waves, the rustle of palm leaves and other nature-tunes that the tropical breeze brought. Of the 2-3,000 acres of land of the South East Peninsula, we were likely part of a night population of 15-20 people! A few years later, our friends built at Turtle Beach and for a number of years we benefitted by their hospitality. We realized after our first visit that, just like you see on the glossy pages of travel magazines, we had found “our” paradise, and made our own future plans to build.
What makes this Villa unique
We love to come here with no schedule in mind; we have enough of those in our work. If you need a place to kick back and relax, indulging yourself in doing nothing, or hiking, diving and being active, then our home and island will quickly get you in the mood. There are 3-4 beach restaurants within 3-5 minutes drive, each offering a little different style/quality of food. Sugar cane used to be the main industry of St. Kitts and its only been in the last 5-6 years that tourism has really started. So St. Kitts is not like most of the other well established, highly populated Caribbean islands. There is still plenty of serene, unspoilt areas to visit, as well as night life along the beaches of Frigate Bay and the hotel areas. 1/2 hour ferry rides get you over to Nevis to explore by bike, taxi or car.

A Wonderful Escape
This is our 4th stay at this property. It WILL NOT be the last. We love this oasis in St Kitts overlooking the majestic mountain of Nevis. This place is never disappointing just leaves us wanting a longer stay. Thanks again for a great time and a place to rejuvenate and reconnect with a pace of life that is so needed.
Bill, we love to hear from our guests, particularly those who continue to return to our home again and again. While we endeavor to make our home just that; a home-away-from-home with full amenities and well cleaned and organised house, we cannot take credit for the wonderful views across to Nevis. We hope you came back again and continue to seek out new ventures on the islands.
Great house, exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.
Was great nice property great gardens and views also loved the high ceilings. Well maintained
We just got back from staying at Seas The Moment. It’s was perfect! The house was beautiful and the view was spectacular. It was stocked with everything a kitchen should be stocked with. We rented a vehicle from Dwayne ( the property manager) he met us at the airport and brought us to the house. It doesn’t get easier than that! We had 6 people and had plenty of room. It was very spacious.
If we go back we would stay at Nick’s place again. Like I said, it was perfect!!
A slice of heaven
The property delivered as advertised. Absolutely stunning views and very peaceful! Property is in beautiful shape and was everything we could have hoped for and more. The pictures don’t do it justice. Close to a number of beach bars and restaurants. An absolute gem. We’ll be back.
We just spent 2 weeks here and loved every minute. This was our sixth visit to St. Kitts, always staying in the Turtle Beach area which is our favorite part of the island. I love waking up each morning, sitting with my coffee near the pool and watching the beautiful sunrises. The view of Nevis is ever changing with the clouds and the weather and we never tire of it. My husband loves walking down to the beach to swim and snorkel each day. We love the open feel of this house and the wonderful breeze!
Peggy and her husband are almost locals, having discovered the secrets of Turtle Beach and its small enclave of properties. Its a view that is hard to drag yourself away from ..... oh okay, maybe a short walk down the hill to go snorkeling:)
DOING NOTHING IS A GREAT ACTIVITY THAT WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND IN FACT OUR OWN POOL AREA CAN BE HARD TO GET AWAY FROM!
