Great casita for a quick horse show vacation in Thermal! Everything was very clean and I really appreciated having the coffee maker and small fridge. Great gated community too!
Great accommodations for the price. Cozy little casita with a mini-fridge, coffee, and real coffee mugs. Great communication from the owners, and we had all the privacy we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely casita. Check in was smooth, the community was friendly and safe, our hosts were welcoming and available for us to answer any questions we had. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was regulated to our liking. The pool and hot tub were clean and lovely and we enjoyed long walks admiring trees and flowers decorating the lovely well kept grounds and homes. We also enjoyed a round of golf and many drives out to go hiking, shopping and dining.
Everything one needed was there. Host always was asking if we needed this or that. I'd say the main short coming is that the room was very small (about 150 sq ft I'd guess) and I wouldn't call a mini fridge and a microwave a kitchenette. But again the hospitality made the stay.
We were coming into town for the riverside fair so the location was perfect. The casita was very clean and updated, but the pictures made it seem much larger than it was. Luckily there was a closet to put your bags in because there wasn't much room for more than one bag to be in the room. I think the description of "kitchenette" is generous, it was a small hotel type fridge with a microwave and single K cup coffee maker. There were no utensils to stir coffee or eat any microwave oatmeal for example. These are not deal breakers but rather information for future stays. The AC situation was a little more of an issue. The casita's heat/AC is controlled from in the house. Upon check in we asked for it to be turned cooler as the sun comes directly into the large window (which has no blind on the top part) and it was pretty hot. They were very accommodating but we would have liked to adjust it further during our stay and it was a little awkward to have to keep texting to adjust the temperature, so we chose not to. Yes that is on us but again something future renters may want to know. The hosts were very nice though and if you are looking for just a place to lay your head, this would be a good location.
