Directly down the road is First Chair coffee shop and Beech Mountain Resort home of skiing, mountain biking, 5506' the highest bar on the East Coast, and Beech Mountain Brewing Co. Fred's General Store is just a mile up the road, and home to the best breakfast on Beech. All the other restaurants on Beech are within a quick 5-10-minute drive.
