Traditional mountain cabin with great views and working wood stove for ambiance and heat. Clean and nice kitchen cooking supplies. Comfy beds. Few minutes to mountain and lake laura. Cons if you twisted my arm, not a ton of space inside for ski equipment, tight parking space/s.
This was a lovely property that felt like someone's home. All the rooms were thoughtfully furnished and the kitchen had every appliance you can imagine, as well as great cookware and dishes. Meal making was fun. The views from windows on three sides were lovely and it felt very private. Everything was new and clean and the management company responded to questions almost immediately. We definitely plan to return here next fall. I did not get to rate skiing because we were there in mid-October. We found a hike we enjoyed close by and saw many options for exploration for our next trip. Early in the week some restaurants may be closed, but the community store (5 min away) was great for many needs and the restaurant next to it had great lunch options.
