Set in Jefferson County, WV, this historic home built in 1850 has been transformed into a modern, bright and serene home away from home. Set in a central location close to Winchester & Berryville, VA, & the historic West Virginia towns of Charles Town, Harpers Ferry and Shepherdstown. Whether you are here for the Summit Point races or the Charles Town Casino, or in town for a tour of our historic towns, your stay at the 1850's House is sure to be comfortable. Our guests may stay to visit family, spend their days hiking on our local trails or tubing on the C&O and Potomac rivers. Jefferson County has so much to offer. Wonderful House

This house was wonderful in all ways. The house was clean and beautiful. The host was great with communication and very friendly. Great internet if needed while staying here. We will be back.

Great Stay

The Hosts were great, and gave us some great recommendations on local food, as well as grocery stores. Very easy to communicate with and fast to respond. There was one issue with one of the beds, but the host was quick to respond, and speedily fixed the issue.
