Off the beaten path
We enjoyed a four night stay in the lovely property. It is outside Marbella well up the hill and a bit tricky to find. Having a house number with the street name would have been helpful, but the advance directions with photos made it clear which property to enter and lockbox made it easier to get in than properties where one has to coordinate a meeting time with an owner or manager. The property was as advertised except that there was no clothes dryer. Very quiet area. Nice outdoor space.
It's exactly what it says on the label but personally won't go again.
Beautiful place on a very quiet setting!!!!
We stayed 6 weeks at that villa and we love very much the beautiful surroundings.....a little bit difficult to find out if you do not have a GPS and ours was not working on our rental car!!!!
Laura has been very helpful to give us lots of information around and show us to operate the appliances.
We visited a few nice places like Mijas, Puerto Banus, Ronda and Gibraltar....!!!!!!
However the villa was lacking comfort for a long stay and not properly equipped for 4 people!!!
If you love a quiet place and are in perfect physical condition...it is the place for you!!!
Perfect appartment calm and in a luxury environment
We spend a very nice holiday in the appartment, we were with our kids. There is a nice little terrace, you are in a secured area, with commun but calm swimmingpool. A residential area near the golf area, not far from Puerto Banus and the beaches (5-10 minutes by car). Appartment clean and with all confort.
A great break from winter
We booked this unit for 7 weeks , from Jan 11th to March 1st 2015, and found it as advertised, a superior unit on the main floor with convenient parking at the door and handy for touring, shopping and sight seeing. The owner (Vitalie) was very helpful in providing information on things like car rentals (we found the rentals at the Malaga airport convenient)so we were able to locate the unit using our GPS and get around from the get-go. The unit was clean and well furnished with all the amenities needed for our extended stay.
We took many day trips to explore the area and found it convenient to drive to local shopping for staples, dining, walking along the beach (San Pedro and Marbella) and walking in the area. We enjoyed Old Town Marbella so much we explored it on many occasions. We also visited Ronda, Granada, Gibraltar and various White Villages in the vicinity. The local representative (Laura) also provided insights in where to go and what to see.
The patio was a great place to sit with our morning coffee and watch the sun come over the trees. Very private and very quiet. Both the swimming pools were clean and well kept—great for cooling off.
Dining out was easy and the food/service superior in every instance. We also cooked our own meals and used the local Mercadona nearby for fresh staples (fish, bread and groceries were super).It was easy to communicate as English is widely understood—We even took some Spanish lessons.
We heartily recommend this unit whether it’s for a short or for an extended stay, as a vacation to remember . We miss being there.
Beautiful property in a relaxing setting.
Having just returned from a relaxing stay in this property, I felt compelled to write a review & recommend it to others.
We are a family of four and found the accommodation was fantastic for our needs - clean, quiet and very well equipped with TV, Microwave, cooker & Washing machine - which worked out perfectly as some days we did not feel like eating out, but enjoyed cooking our own meal - or enjoying the local bread, cheese, ham and fruit, whilst sitting on the Patio outside.
The property is on a secure, gated complex, with 3 swimming pools which are not very busy during the day, so it is easy to enjoy some quiet family time around the pool.
We felt very relaxed during our stay - It was just what we needed - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life - yet close enough to it to dip in and out of it when we chose.
I highly recommend venturing to Rhonda - A historic town that is split in two with a deep Gorge and also houses a Bull ring - The oldest in Spain - And a day trip to Mijas - a beautiful old fashioned town with while washed walls and cobbled streets.
I found the owner of this property, Vitalie, to be very informative and approachable and the description of the accommodation is very accurate.
