About this property

Simple living in this cozy studio with Mountain View Patio facing Manoa Valley and breezes! Great location, near beaches including the beginning of Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana Beach Park with its great beachfront, jogging, surfing , paddle boarding and picnic lawn area! After a day at the beach walk five minutes to Ala Moana Shopping Center with three levels of outdoor shopping, restaurants and night life including food courts for trying local cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Foodland Farms is located in the shopping center and you can purchase your groceries along with popular local delicacies! Also nearby is Food Pantry down the street turn left at the corner light along with Don Quixote, which is a little farther away walk for worth it for it's variety of ethnic groceries! Waikiki is about 8 minutes to the beginning of the beach and about a 20 minute walk to main part of Waikiki, however there are bus lines that run in front of building along with a main bus hub located in Ala Moana Shopping Center if you want to venture outside. Local Biki bicycles are located down the street and you can rent a bike and jump on to exercise and experience Honolulu with this great system. The unit itself is equipped with a compact fridge, meal prep area and includes coffeemaker, electric tea kettle, skillet, hot place, pots and pans, utensils and dishes, cooking utensils, microwave and basic essentials to prepare a meal for yourself. Your bed is a double bed and the bathroom has a bath/shower along with shampoo/conditioner and body wash! We provide snorkeling face masks and fins, along with beach towels, an umbrella and collapsible beach chairs! The unit's mountain view patio is a great place to relax and enjoy the mountain breezes while you eat, relax or just want to chill! The unit also has wifi and a 40" flat screen television. The famous Kapiolani Park past central Waikiki offers another great jogging, walking and picnic area along with the location of our Honolulu Zoo!

Very close to the night life but parking is tough

The property manager had great communication and responded very promptly at all hours of the day, which was much appreciated. We had a little trouble at first with finding the property because we were not told which plaza it was in and if it’s your first time driving around it might be confusing as to which apartment complex you should enter because all of the entrances are very close together. The description says that there’s parking for $8 to $10 (it’s $1 per hour) but it is a pretty far walk especially if you’re walking back after 10 pm! The closest parking is $30. We tried many times looking for street parking but it was very hard to find any. The property is as described in the photos. The fridge worked and there are many amenities in the closet which was really awesome! Very close to many restaurants and bars if you’re looking for night life.
