A charming second story two bedroom apartment located in a quiet neighborhood along the Duluth Lakewalk just short drive to Brighton Beach. Lakeside Condo is located in a unique neighborhood filled with both residential and commercial properties. Please feel free to check out some of our favorite neighborhood businesses like Amity Coffee, Sammy's Pizza and The New London Cafe, all located right outside your door. If you're looking for downtown experience don't worry this quiet neighborhood is just a 10 minute drive to Canal Park and Downtown Duluth. Or if you want to adventure up the North Shore, access to Highway 61 is quick and easy from this location.
The living room is a spacious and window filled room perfect for gathering your travel group to watch a movie or play one of our many board games. The plush sectional sofa also pulls out into a sleeper to accommodate extra sleeping space and LED Smart TV. The kitchen has all the essentials you will need in order to prepare a meal in the comfort of your own space. Enjoy your meal at the dining table overlooking Superior Street. When you're ready for some shut eye, you can relax in the master bedroom equipped with a comfortable queen bed and designated work space for the traveling professional. If you're traveling with the children the fun and bright bunk room is perfect and features a reading chair for bedtime stories. The best part of Lakeside Condo is not just one, but TWO, three season patios to enjoy! These spaces are furnished with comfortable furniture and ambient lighting and are the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or cocktail. However, these spaces are intended for seasonal use as they are not heated.
→ KITCHEN: Our Kitchen has all the basics for your cooking needs. A crockpot, coffee maker, griddle, pots & pans, blender, toaster, and all the needed cooking and baking utensils. To get you started we set you up with complimentary coffee bags from Duluth Coffee Company as well as a few beverages and popcorn.
→ BATHROOM Our bathrooms have all the essentials. Toilet paper, bath towels, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, hand soap, make-up wipes, and a blow dryer.
→ ENTERTAINMENT: Our TVs are SmartTVs with a variety of apps downloaded and ready for your use. Please bring your own credentials to access streaming networks.
→ PETS This property is not pet-friendly. Any property damages caused by pets will be assessed and may be charged at the discretion of management.
→ THINGS TO DO Duluth's many mountain bike trails are a popular attraction! VACATION RENTAL HOUSE RULES
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a) All Guests (and any Visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. NOISE AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD a) This Vacation Rental is suitable for children of all ages! Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the Neighborhood; b) Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours (10pm – 8am), and upon arrival and departure; c) Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges which may be deducted from the Security Deposit;
Terms include a No Tolerance Policy regarding excessive noise, parties, or disturbing neighbors. Please make sure you are comfortable with our Terms as they are strictly enforced.
3. VISITORS a) Guests are allowed a maximum of 6 visitors at any time during their stay. b) Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that visitors are complicit with these House Rules.
4. FUNCTIONS a) Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Vacation Rental; and b) Any small gathering must comply with other rules set regarding Noise, the Neighborhood and Visitor numbers.
5. PARKING a) Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles; please use the designated parking with signs for the Vacation Rental.
6. SECURITY a) Any time Guests leave the Vacation Rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage. b) Guests must switch off the lights, air conditioning, fans, electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving.
7. SMOKING a) Smoking is not permitted inside the Vacation Rental; and b) Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (in large trash cans located outside property or off property all together) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
8. PETS a) Pets are not permitted at the vacation rental.
9. DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES a) All Damages and Breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty deduction from the security deposit. And; b) To avoid Damages and Breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
10. CHECK OUT ARRANGEMENTS a) Please be sure to lock all doors and leave both sets of keys back in the lockbox. Check out is at 10am - if you need a later checkout please contact me as soon as possible to request arrangements.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: a) In the event of an emergency relating to the Vacation Rental, your emergency contact is: Heirloom Vacation Rentals 218-409-4885 b) In the event of all other emergencies please call 911.
12. COMPLIANCE a) Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement. b) The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community.

Very clean and cute condo in a wonderful location in Duluth. Loved being able to have coffee on the porch in the morning looking out towards the lake. Management was very friendly and easy to get ahole of for all of our questions. Overall a great place to stay with family!

We enjoyed staying here during our weekend trip to the north shore. The apartment was warm and well decorated. Beds were plush and comfy. Keypad entry was easy. Parking was on the road just outside the apartment. Neighborhood felt safe. Enjoyed the interesting Minnesota themed book selections. We even enjoyed a game of Yahtzee together. We’ll look forward to our next trip.

I fell in love with the adorable neighborhood with an ice cream shop and a coffe shop next door. Just two blocks away I found the most delicious GF pizza. Oh, did I mention there is a view of Lake Superior from the large windows facing east? What an amazing experience. The place was very clean, quiet and the furnishings comfortable.I had a few suggestions for the property management team who acknowledged my comments (scalding hot water, exremely slippery shower floor, broken shower faucent handle and lack of hooks near front door for jackets. It is Duluth so there is very likely many guests will be wearing jackets and will be looking for somewhere to heng them up.There are a couple of adorable bunk beds in one of the bedrooms but there is a door in the room that leads to a fire escape so not sure how comfortable I would be having small children stay in the room. I think there is a sofa sleeper so maybe put the kids on there? Great location and overall I highly recommend this place. I would definitely stay here again. Kudos to the communication team and the cleaning crew. Great job.

We appreciated your maintenance and safety notes; our team has addressed the hot water temperature, repaired the shower faucet handle, added non-slip measures in the shower, and installed additional hooks by the entry. Thanks also for the bunk-bed safety comment — we’ll update the listing and room notes so families can choose the best sleeping arrangements (the sofa sleeper is an option). We passed your compliments along to our communication and cleaning teams and hope to host you again.
The layout is great. The location is perfect for access to family in the Lakeside area. The two things that stood out to us that would be good to be aware of are as follows…
1) the place was well over 80°F when we arrived. Without any access to a thermostat, we had to crack windows open in 17°F weather to cool the unit down to a comfortable level.
2) The odor of stale smoke is quite noticable and would be an aggravator to anybody with respiratory sensitivities.
Beyong those two items…the place was immaculate, well decorated, and exactly as advertised.
We hope over time that the smell will dissipate as we would love to be able to stay here consistently when traveling to Duluth to visit family.
I like it was at a quiet and private setting. It was clean, although we found a life bug (German cockroach), we have a picture and a video.The recycling container wasn’t emptied. The shower door wasn’t working properly (it was off its rail)and didn’t close all the way, splashing water on the side of the vanity, I had to dry it since the floor got too wet and slippery. My husband is a contractor and fixed the door. The body wash gel pump didn’t work.On Saturday, morning we got locked out of apartment, the security code didn’t work. We called customer service and were told someone/technician was coming to fix it and they would let us know when fixed, we never received call..We got back in apartment by trying a different security code, and realized we were given the wrong code from the beginning. We were given (we were given a six digit code instead of a five digit code..This incident changed our plans for the day drastically, since we had planned to cook breakfast before leaving, and had to wait to go back inside for my husbands wallet and a phone charger, and go on with our plans. We also had to pay for a meal we didn’t plan in our budget. Also, we had issues “no internet “, Friday the network wasn’t on, Saturday the password didn’t work. We would like some reimbursement for the poor service which affected our vacation. Thank you.
