Welcome to Ace in the Hole, an elite mountain estate that redefines the "Smokies Cabin" experience. Perched high on Bluff Mountain with a panoramic 180-degree view of the National Park, this isn't just a place to sleep—it’s a private luxury resort. From your own 9-hole mini-golf course to a heated indoor pool and a "Sports Bar" game room, every inch of this property was designed for the ultimate group getaway. You will have a private indoor pool, hot tub, game room, disc golf, outdoor living area, private mini golf course, outdoor theater and you will also be close to down. Access to the cabin is flat paved roads with a flat paved parking area.

Inside you'll also find top of the line experiences and quality. Some of the numerous features include a massive indoor pool with basketball hoop, game room with jumbotron and numerous arcades (not to mention a spectacular view and custom bar top), luxury walk in showers, custom bunk beds, unique bedrooms, and special custom touches throughout. The cabin was specifically designed for the land in order to maximize and capture views of the picturesque Smoky Mountains from massive window walls and 8' sliding doors. You'll never want to leave the property, but if you do, then you'll be situated in close proximity to all the Smokies have to offer. It is only 6.8 miles to Light #3 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, less than 5 miles to shopping and excellent food, and less than 11 miles to Dollywood. The cabin is brand spanking new and ready to be rented for the trip of your lifetime!

Free, FAST WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking my be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are not pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

The only problems I had was after the 1st night the pool water got really cold and the hot tub drained to almost empty so didn't get to swim or spend much time in the hot tub in the pool area like we wanted.

Grips on putters on the golf game kept coming off. Horseshoe pit had weeds and couldn’t use. Pool and hot tub needed cleaned. Indoor house was clean and well maintained. Nice appliances.

For the most part the cabin was clean, but we did find some places of food in places and an empty bottle or two. I was not happy that there are about half the number of video games in the game room as what is shown in the pictures. The kids were disappointed in that. The ping pong table now sits in that location and a big poker/chess table (no ping pong balls or chess pieces to use). The kitchen is very well stocked.

Amazing!

This place is spectacular!!! The view is incredible. So much for the kids to do and stay busy! The only downside was I wish we could have spent more time at the house but there is so much to do around gatlinburg and pigeon forge! If we come back I will stay longer just to spend more time at the house! The first morning we woke up to 4 bears by the fire pit and that was truly a fun experience for us and the kids! I see people complaining of the roads to get to the house but what do you expect when you’re in the mountains! Drive slow and cautious and all is fine! We had such a great vacation and the house just brought it up another level! I will miss the Smoky mountains!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice vacation at Ace in the Hole Cabin. Elk Springs Resort cabin rentals was one of better rental agencies we have rented through, very informative, checked in on us to make sure everything was good, and were on top of all things needed for a nice week. The cabin was excellent; very clean and well maintained, it had so many amenities/fun things to do and a wonderful scenic view. The only downside was that it was right on a very busy road, nonstop traffic going even up until 4am on weekends, some even used driveway to turn around. A group young kids were also using road to race each other with their loud modified cars late into the night hours for several nights, sometimes 10 to 12 cars at a time. We just avoided some of outside sitting areas due to the excessive noise and ruckus of it all.

Wonder place! Exactly as described.

We had the best time as a group of 9 (7 teenagers ages 14-20) The kids stayed in the game room or in the indoor pool/jacuzzi the whole time! So much to do, it did rain the majority of our visit so we were only able to watch a movie outside one time. Kitchen was stocked with all your needs to cook. The home was spotless! There was a huge bear that like to visit around 7:30 every night. Waking up and having coffee and watching the sunrise from the wrap around porch was amazing. The drive up is not for the faint. Elk Resort was amazing to work with, very responsive (within minutes) anytime we had a question. Would definitely stay again!

Reviewer Comments: The pool alarm sensor was non stop going off , a random alarm would sound in the kitchen every afternoon for a few minutes, no firewood provided for the fire pits , the coffee maker was very small , tv remotes difficult to figure out. Lighting inside cabin is very bright , maybe more lamps or dimmer switches.

Only two downfalls of the cabin; hard mattresses and the jacuzzi in the indoor pool does not get over 86 degrees (too cold for my family's preference in the winter). For informational purposes; the jacuzzi indoors drains every morning and refills about 9am.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time at ace in the hole. So much fun watching a movie outdoors on that big screen and my grandchildren really enjoyed playing in the pool. The only things I would change would be please put blinds on the sliding doors, when other members in your group are up and on the shared deck they can see you in bed. (No blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows). They only give you one roll of tp per bathroom for the whole stay we had to make a run for tp and paper towels. Ace in the hole was clean and modern and the views were amazing.

Beautiful view!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is a large cabin with plenty of things to do. Beautiful view! Road to the cabin is narrow and busy so slow down and stay on your side while on it. There were several things that needed maintenance on and repairs, but the company was very fast to respond. They just need to take more time if possible to check those things after each stay or if the people before each stay would just be honest about breaking things so they could get on it faster. Make sure you take all your needed supplies for kitchen.( coffee filters,foil anything like that. The road is not fun having to go up and down.

Extremely Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: They asked us our arrival time 2 days before arriving, we said 3PM which is check in time. the cleaning crew was nearly 2 hours late. The cabin had a family of 4 racoons living in the floor system that would wake up around midnight and run around all night long. No one was able to sleep, and management did next to nothing. There are many great places to stay in the Smokeys, but Elk Springs is not of them.

Would not stay again

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice new cabin but very dirty and many things were broken. We paid almost $1000 a night and it was not a luxury cabin in my opinion. AC was not working when we arrived and pool was freezing. Mouse droppings and urine on bed sheets. Human feces found on master bathroom floor and shower. They refused to refund the 10% I asked for. Never called me to discuss my visit or apologize and acted like they could care less on the phone.

Ace in the Hole is awesome!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time staying in Ace in the Hole cabin! There were 6 adults and 2 7 year olds. The kids had a blast! We even saw a bear the first night. Decent amount of rain over our 3 days there which didn’t matter with the indoor pool and game room. You really don’t need to leave the cabin for anything! So much to do. The outdoor theater putt putt and soccer game were a lot of fun. Only thing I can complain about is the kitchen isn’t stocked well. We ate in mostly and the cookie sheet was rusted and only one skillet. With eight people just making eggs we had to do in few batches. A few more cookie sheets would really help. Gameroom had a lot of stink bugs and wasn’t cleaned well. Oh and no ping pong balls. Small complaints. Awesome vacation! Planning to make it a yearly trip!
