About the host
Hosted by Andrew Keach
Lifelong skier and snowboarder. I am originally from Massachusetts, and moved to Utah full time after a single epic winter trip experience exposed me to the beautiful canyons, multiple big mountain ski areas and of course the greatest snow on earth. All of this is literally on the doorstep of Salt Lake City where I met my wife and better half in 2012. We live in the city and escape to the mountains every opportunity that presents itself. We have 2 beautiful children together who race on the Brighton Ski Team.
Why they chose this property
The cabin is located in a beautiful evergreen mountain forest neighborhood. It boasts year round accessibility albeit in the winter, the weather can be a real challenge. I always enjoy the trip to the cabin. The frequent weather related Roadway challenges I actually enjoy.
What makes this property unique
At 8000 feet 100% guaranteed snow after Thanksgiving. If you want snow and relatively easy access point to the mountains you are at the right spot. We consistently get dumping snow. Sometimes we enjoy the thrill of being snowed in yet it is never a serious threat since the snowplows begin and end their snow clearing days 2 houses above us. If you don’t have time or energy to cook, Silverfork Restaurant is a short gorgeous walk from the cabin.
