Welcome to our charming Clinton St Upstairs Studio, immersed in the heart of Cajun country and lively Lafayette! We're just a 5-minute walk to downtown's festive streets, lined with cafes, shops, and venues pulsing with local music. With Cajun music, culture, and cuisine right at your doorstep, our ideally located home lets you experience the spirit of Acadiana!

The Space:
Experience a stylish stay at our Clinton Upstairs Studio, a comfortable 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat. You'll sleep soundly on a Queen mattress with upgraded bedding. The studio includes a small living area with a sofa and chair, a Smart TV for streaming, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave oven, and coffee maker with coffee. The private remodeled bathroom features a full-size tub/shower combo. Stay connected with free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire upstairs studio via a private entrance with a smart lock and key code. Step outside to an expansive, well-lit covered deck and sitting area that wraps around the house just outside your front door. A shared laundry area is available at the back of the home for added convenience. Your comfort and convenience are our top priorities!

Guest Access:
This is a multi-unit property: There are a total of three units for rent at this address which includes the front home, a private upstairs studio, a private suite attached to the main house, and a private townhouse in the very back. All units have private entrances/doors via smart locks with codes and a designated private/covered outdoor space.

A door code will be sent to you for self-check-in via (Smart Lock) with additional check-in instructions.

Our staff is available to help or offer any suggestions you may need. Check-in and parking instructions will be automatically sent at 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

The house is clean and quiet with a picket fence, hardwood floors, and easy parking. I didn’t know the studio would be up a flight of stairs in an attic room, ie a sloped roof. I enjoyed it and got good value for my money but I would not stay there if I was on business or had mobility issues.

This is a cute loft property. Not ADA accesible. The ceilings on both sides were lowly slanted so you had to watch your head if you woke up during the night. TV had Fire TV but you had to use your own account to watch anything. Bathroom had same slanted ceiling, so again...careful standing up when getting off toilet. There is no kitchen per se but had a small cute retro looking dorm style fridge with matching microwave, a toaster, a Kuerig with a few flavor choices, utensils and glasses/cups. When you entered through the side door, it appears that the entryway is secure to the stairwell but there was this glass door that lead to main house that was questionable. Stairs lacked railings half-way up. Motion activated light at foot of stairs worked fine when entering but did not kick on as you were coming down until you got to the railings...so coming down in the dark was a little harrowing. Door to loft at top of stairs did not close but had a latch lock. There was no thermostat so you were at the mercy of where the AC was coming from downstairs, but there was a portable AC/dehumidifer in the room that could be used if too hot. Didn't appear to have a heat setting. Bed was OK. Shower had good pressure and hot water but shower curtain rod kept falling down.
