Great Stay!

I booked this location for my son who was visiting the area for medical school. He said the place was great. Very clean, quiet and safe. In an ideal location for where he needed to be. Helpful owner. Will stay here again if his travels lead him back.

In town to visit family

We were in town for a few short days to visit family. The water heater had gone out at the house but the owner called ahead to let me know that and offer to either refund part of our money or help us find another place to stay. We chose to stay and she did in fact, refund a partial payment back to us as promised. The house is super cute and close to everything. She even had coffee and waffles stocked for us! We will definately be back the next time we come to town.

A wonderful place to stay

I stayed in Sherri’s Capital Heights property in Baton Rouge. The location is nestled close to anything you’d need in Baton Rouge. Work, play, dining, shopping, exercise, it’s all less than a 10 minute drive away. Sherri was friendly and responsive throughout the entire stay. The house was fully furnished and stocked with all the necessities. I didn’t want for anything while I was there. The home is situated in the middle of Capital Heights and Steele Place. It’s an upper scale neighborhood with substantial property values and charm. The neighborhood is one that is safe to walk day and night. Nothing but positive things to say about my stay!!

Great Location

Perfect size and location for us & our pup. The dog loved the fenced yard and walkable neighborhood. We loved the amount of restaurants & bars nearby. We’d definitely stay here again.

"Capital Heights" is one of Baton Rouge's oldest developments of mostly vintage homes with major renovations while still maintaining the neighborhood's charming early 1900's character.

Our location is on a one-way street with a dedicated pedestrian and bicycle lane and within short walking distances to many popular restaurants and local favorites.

The Bee Happy Hive is my personal vacation home and my vision of a perfect efficient and comfortable "tiny" home (800 sq ft) with an open living room and kitchen, large master Br, a cozy guest room, a private courtyard, covered patio and fenced backyard.

I personally manage my vacation home, so unique needs of and/or requests from our guests are encouraged. COMPLIMENTARY DIY breakfast items and condiments are included during your stay (eggs, bacon and/or sausage, pancakes and/or waffles, grits, cereals, bagels and/or toaster pastries, etc. BYO milk, juice, and/or fruit.

Bedding includes 1 queen bed with memory foam mattress with plush pillowed topper in the master Br, 1 queen sofa sleeper in the living room, 2 twin bunk beds with memory foam mattresses and pillowed toppers, Futon with twin mattress in Br-2, plus 1 queen air mattress. Sleeps 6 comfortably with 2 in each room (see bedding options with comments in photos tour).

Relax outdoors at the wrought iron table and chairs under the covered patio. Cook outdoors at the BBQ grill or relax by the fire pit on stools made from recycled tree trunks. Play ball sports, darts, water splash or play chase and fetch with your dog. ... All within a privacy fenced rear yard.
