Great house!
Overall we were really happy with this house. It is a very short walk to the beach and has a pool and hot tub we could use. The house was very clean and very comfortable.
There were two things I wish I had known before our stay that the listing didn’t make clear. First is the layout of the house. The first floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and half bath. The living room has seating for about 5 and the only tv in the house. It would have been nice to have one more tv in the house for rainy days. Not that big of a deal though for us. The second floor has two private bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a laundry room. The two twins with trundles are in the common area of this floor. The third floor is a semi-private bedroom. Meaning, it has no doors and is open to the stairwell. This layout ended up working out ok for our family, but only because our oldest adult child ended up not being able to join us, making us a party of 6 instead of 7.
The other issue that we had was that the kitchen is not well stocked. This may not be a big deal to some, but we like to cook most of our meals ourselves rather than going out to eat or ordering takeout. There were pots and pans, but no mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, no serving bowls, no colander, grater, peeler, etc. I ended up having to buy a few cheap basics at the dollar store to get us through the week.
None of these negatives took away from our overall experience though.
