Very underwhelming despite the pretty pics!
What an ordeal! The pictures sold us, and then the adventure began. From having to hunt down entry instructions day of arrival, to arriving to fumes that resembled that of paint or some serious chemical issues with the home, to broken shower nozzles (5 people woke up to 1 functional shower our first morning), to basics just being missed (like waste baskets in all but 1 bathroom, no wifi info, tv wifi not working, dishwasher parts missing, and simple coffee filters nowhere to be found).This house just felt abandoned and neglected! After several attempts to reach the owner through the app we eventually got a hold of her and she sent her handyman out to fix our shower situation. He also fixed the tv. It did though take over half our stay to get our showers going. When we approached the owner for a refund for how inconvenienced our group was, that's the last we heard from her. No offer at all to make this right! Our time there was used up in maintenance calls and texts and work at the house, not exactly our idea of a relaxing rental. But I guess fixing the shower nozzles before we left was enough of a compensation (by the owner) for the very dissapointing stay by our entire group. Simple due diligence is needed on this property to make this a worthwhile rental. The smell alone needs to be aired out or solved. Another thing, the king bed in the big bedroom is terribly uncomfortable. No one wanted to sleep in that room. We all stayed upstairs. Fumes were lesser upstairs. No thanks!
