Everything was as advertised and we had a good time but the unit we stayed in needed a new shower curtain. The interior shower curtain was covered in mildew and needs to be replaced ASAP. Other than that, everything was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. One quick fix by replacing the shower curtain and this unit will be great!
We enjoyed the stay and liked the short walk to the beach and pool. Would stay again.
We had a great time ......wonderful location. Had all we needed for the beach in the locker downstairs...only thing we needed was beach towels but not their fault....

We had a fine booking experience. No issues. We arrived after 8 PM on our day of check in exhausted from our drive. Only to find the toilet, once flushed, takes about an hour and a half to refill. Family of 3 - takes 4 1/2 hours to go to the bathroom. We were too tired to worry about it so woke up and alerted the property manager about the issue. She sent a repairman a few hours later and he said all was fine. Yet, still couldn’t flush the toilet. Seems like a small requirement to be able to flush the toilet. When we got back and told the manager that the toilet still won’t flush she said - well we can leave and they would refund us. But, finding a place was up to us and it was 4 PM in the afternoon. We had planned a dinner with friends - so packing - finding a place and moving didn’t fit our schedule. So, we decided to stay...My advice is to be prepared if you rent this place. We had to start filling the toilet tank from the shower just to not be embarrassed by leaving the waste until the toilet filled hours later. This was not a vacation. Oh - and no sheets for the sofa bed. Fun times - not. It was clean. We didn’t cook - so can’t speak to that.
I am sorry this guest was dissatisfied with toilet performance. However, the story laid out here is loose on detail. First of all, the toilet never “not flushed.” Per her communication with me, it always flushed, just wasn’t refilling fast enough. I received a 7AM text, on Saturday morning, notifying me the toilet tank was not filling in an expedient manner. This was surprising to me since a family of four had just checked out, with no mention of toilet issues. Nonetheless, I immediately began contacting plumbers. However, no plumber could schedule me earlier than the following Wednesday. Therefore, I reached out to a familiar Resort handyman. He was at the unit by noon and found “no problem”, stating it does flush, but simply fills slower than some may be accustomed to. I let the guest know his findings, and she expressed her dissatisfaction with his response. Not being a handyman or plumber myself, I felt I had done what I could to “fix” the problem. So, I offered to refund 100% of her money, and provided her an avenue to book a different unit, in the very same building, for the remaining 15 hours of her stay. She refused, stating she was too tired, and to “just forget it”. If a repairman can’t find an issue, and guest is not willing to move, I’m not sure what else can be done in that moment. Just like with a home, the need for most condo repairs occur spontaneously. When they do occur, like everyone else, we are at the mercy of the repairmen. Most people realize this. Local service providers will not simply rearrange their schedules to accommodate owners, especially on a Saturday, during Spring Break. Most people also realize this. Further, nasty and disrespectful communication fixes nothing. Common courtesy to others is free, yet invaluable in these situations. In the end, I am disappointed when any guest has what they feel is a negative experience, warranted or not. So, I refunded one-half of her stay. It is interesting this was not acknowledged to me, nor did she include the refund in her review.
Not one word was said about there not being any sheets for sofa bed (easily fixable), so I won’t even address that here.
Because the plumber was already scheduled for the following week, we went ahead and had all of the flushing mechanism replaced so that it now fills more expediently.
We loved our stay here. It was so close to the beach and really just a beautiful area. The company that managed everything was wonderful, flexible, and kind. Great experience!
