The Perfect Getaway

I looked for a rental near Indian Cave State Park and this property came up. I'm so glad it did. This place was immaculate and perfect for son and myself for a couple of days. The house was very clean, bright and inviting. The massive couch in the living room was so comfortable it was hard to make it through a movie without falling asleep.

“Hidden Gem in Rockport – A Peaceful Escape with Small-Town Charm”

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Rockport. This VRBO is truly a hidden gem — peaceful, clean, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home.The property is beautifully maintained with cozy furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of space. We especially loved the easy stroll to Main Street! It’s clear the owners take pride in the space, and everything was spotless.What makes this place even more special is the location. Rockport is a charming small town, and the property is just a short drive to Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE.The host was friendly and responsive and making sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a place this peaceful and well-kept at such a reasonable price.We’ll definitely be back. Whether you're passing through, looking for a weekend getaway, or just need to unplug and unwind, this Rockport retreat is a true hidden gem.

Great little gem

We were hesitant on where to stay close to Brownville, NE. Our son was a performer at the Brownville Villiage theater and we were going to be in town for 3-4 days. I booked this little house and it was perfect!!! Close to the theater, Casey’s gas station was right there for groceries, everything we needed was right in the home. It was safe, we walked the little town of Rock Port and enjoyed the quiet, slow atmosphere. The owners are extremely receptive to questions and even came right over when the tv remote stopped working. The only thing I can even think of adding is another mirror to help get ready when someone is in the bathroom where the only mirror is located. I cannot recommend this place and this owner enough!
