We had a wonderful stay at Casa Aurora for Spring Break! The cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. It is in an excellent location to visit Big Bend each day. We loved spending our mornings and early afternoon hiking and then returning to the cabin to eat and stargaze at night. The cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with when we mistakenly booked a shorter stay than we had planned. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Big Bend.
We had an amazing stay at this Big Bend VRBO! The location was perfect — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by the incredible beauty of the desert landscape. The views of the sunrise was wonderful, and the night sky was great for stargazing. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked for our stay. It was the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the area. The host was also very responsive and made the whole experience easy from booking to check-out.If you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Big Bend, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Comfortable house, just wished there were blinds or curtains in the rooms to help block the sun in the afternoon and from the moon making the bedroom very bright at night.
The home was clean, check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the location was perfect for easy access to Big Bend, groceries and gas. Highly recommend!
This cabin was a great pick. Near the park and had all the amenities you will need. Everything was new and in good working order. Highly recommend for a couple or small family.
Perfect location, very close to Big Bend National Park. Loved the front porch-great watching sunrise, sunset and all the stars!Kitchen well stocked, plenty of room. Bed is comfortable. We loved having a fire outside on the nights it wasn’t windy. Owner very responsive to any questions. We would absolutely stay here again.
Excellent property, rugged location with comfortable amenities. Great porch view of the mountain and Sun/Moon Rise. Short drive to Big Bend and to town. Looking at all of the other BnBs, I think we picked the best one for a couple.
The property is very stylish and clean. John has provided everything you need and a few extra treats like the espresso machine! He is great to communicate with and the information he provides about the property and area is top notch! One of our favorite stays’
We were looking for comfort and close proximity to Big Bend. Our expectations were met and exceeded at this fully functional, modern and bright little vacation house in the desert. We would love to come back and do some more hiking and observing nature and wildlife.
I rented this cabin for 5 nights and we had a great experience. It is best suited for a couple or 2 adults traveling together. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The cabin is new, well done and all systems work very well. Highly recommended.
My stay at Casa Aurora was excellent in every way. For me its strongest point is its location, which is just a few minutes from the western entrance to Big Bend National Park. Big Bend is huge, and you are going to have to drive a long way once you get there, so save your yourself a long drive to the park! The area around the cabin is uncluttered (unlike some of the places up the road) and you get great unspoiled views of the distant surrounding mountains, including the mouth of Santa Elena Canyon. The house itself is stylish, modern, and clean, and everything worked great.
Can't think of a better set up for a couple. Super close to the Maverick entrance. Firm bed. Excellent HVAC. Nice porch. Could stop at Cottonwood store each day after being in the park 100% on the route back to the place. 10 min from Terlingua Ghost Town. John the owner and Nate the local manager were super to deal with.
