Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please rehang kayaks and paddles if used and put life vests back in closet
Cover and lock hot tub. If any furniture inside or out was moved, please return it to it's spot. Thanks!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rental agreement for stays over 10 days required. Fire Pit Safety and Hot Tub information sent must be acknowledged before access to home is given
No third party bookings or travel agent bookings permitted at this time. Person making the booking must be present and on-site.
Extra guests without prior permission will incur a fee of $50 per night each. An over the limit fee of $500 may apply. This is non negotiable.

This is a beautiful home and very nicely furnished! The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. My daughters and I had a great time and the host was extremely helpful and welcoming.

The house was clean and the host was very easy to communicate with. We only had 6 people. If there would’ve been 8, it would’ve been crowded. The lake was awesome!! Be careful backing out of the driveway - there is a tree directly behind the drive - found that the hard way!!

From the ease of booking to the serene setting on the canals of Lake Granbury, our stay at the hideout was absolutely wonderful! The accommodations are top tier, the house is decorated very tastefully, the beds are comfortable and the linens are even nice quality! The kitchen is supplied for any level of chef, and very comfortable to maneuver. Our kids enjoyed kayaking and we all fished a few days of our stay as well! My husband and I and our 2 youngest children thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend this sweet escape!

Great Fall Bread Getaway

We came to this property for Fall Break! The property was WONDERFUL! Clean, very user friendly, and plenty of lake toys!!!! The host was wonderful in giving directions and locations of items. Played in the lake, shopped on the town, smores nightly! Will definitely be back!!

Check in was easy, property owner messaged to let me know I could check in early and allowed a late check out. (I am sure this could vary depending on other bookings) Kitchen had everything you would possibly need and an outdoor grill, beds were comfy. Foosball was a huge hit for the teenagers and adults. Fishing right out the back door. We will definitely book this again.

Girls’ Getaway

We had such a great weekend! The house was perfect for my mom, sister and our daughters to meet. Loved the house and hot tub. Didn’t use the fire pit due to burn ban. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We had problems with the thermostat (user error) and Doris was super responsive and quick to help us turn on the AC and learn to navigate the thermostat. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully enjoy the lake.

We are now retired and live in Texas but we have lived around the world due to our jobs. We enjoy staying at vacation rentals ourselves and know what we like and do not like, so we strive to give you a clean, comfortable, well appointed place to enjoy your vacation.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet, the lots are spacious and have great lake access. We are just 3.5 miles to Historic Lake Granbury and 4 miles to the main shopping area. Very convenient.

What makes this property unique

The back yard has everything you need to enjoy your lake vacation. Hot Tub - cleaned and sanitized between every guest. Fire Pit - with plenty of seating for all your friends and family to enjoy. Kayaks - 4 of them, 3 adult and one youth. Waterfront - with a kayak launch platform. You can even bring your boat and tie it up. Large Back porch - with dining table and seating. Bring your food and clothing and you are good to go for your vacation!
