Vancouver’s hipsters Commercial Drive is a perfect place to catch up on the latest Urban fare surrounded by candlelit patio dinners and organic shops along inset a view from the cityscape skyline view not so far from the city’s core to explore ever more while living La Dolce Vita at the best Little Italy in town. We decided we’d rate this accommodation “just adequate”No screens on the bedroom windows, sheets were very “pilly”. One of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work
House was close to the area of Vancouver i wanted to be in. Neighborhood was very pretty and quiet. I didn't have a car but parking would be an issue if you had one.
This place is a hidden gem! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a full floor with more than enough room and 2 nice bedrooms. The kitchen is STOCKED! The bathroom is really nice. And there are great restaurants just a few blocks away.
Beautiful location. Clean & quiet property. Only trouble was no insuite laundry as advertised. When we finally found laundry room, it was flooded from broken (sewage or sump) system. Gross smells. Communication with host was medium-rated.

The bulk of the property was ok. Easy walk to supermarket and restaurants. 1.3km from the skytrain. It was clean and quite well equipped in the kitchen but somewhat spartan wrt the lounge /dining area. The sheets were synthetic and with a plastic under sheet very uncomfortable when it was hot. Otherwise the bed was comfy. We booked on the basis there was a laundry but found the floor covered in sludge from leaks in the machine as well as from waste from the unit upstairs. Smelly and insects which permeated to the bedroom above. Spent over 2h on the phone and internet with patchy reception on the day we arrived trying to figure out how to access the unit (on the rocky mountaineer with vrbo) as the owner had not provided info in relation to this in advance and we had little access to the internet in the intervening days and realised we had had no details on the day….we’re thinking of other options for accommodation at their stage. Quite stressful. Internet is woeful.
Super cute place to stay and in a very convenient location to all of the "to do's". I appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment. The weather was great and we had the windows a majority of the time while in. I grew up in coatal areas of southern California, so i was already aware of no a/c in places like this. The only draw back was the key pad access (initial use learning curve) and the upstairs tenants used the entire porch to smoke weed on and flick their ashes all over, without brushing the ash away. Tacky. Would i stay in this place again? 100%. The pric8ng seemed a touch high to me, but i was in close peoximity to everything. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay! Vancouver is gorgeous and a definite new spot for us.
Nice, clean, lots of room. 5 minute walk to commercial drive with lots of fabulous restaurants! Easy access key entry. Full kitchen. Coffee and coffee maker and hot pot for tea! Wonderful shower with plenty of hot water! Quick response to all our questions. Let us have a later checkout time. Thanks
Clean cute and convenient. Only issue was that door code provided did not work and it took a while to get that sorted out. The door lock system is not intuitive and was confusing.
