We choose this property for the proximity to the airport; we were headed to Florida but picking our daughter up from the airport on the way. Very close! Also close to many restaurant options. The house suited our family perfectly.
Property owner communicated very well, the check in process was very simple & the home was clean when we arrived.

Well decorated but not very clean
A group of us stayed here for a large event in town and it was just okay. The decorations were cute and the neighborhood felt decently safe for the area but the house had an awful stale fried food smell throughout and was pretty dirty. There was smeared grease all over the kitchen cabinets, the ceiling fans look like they hadn’t been dusted in months, the shower curtain was moldy, the bed sheets were stained, the couch is being supported with a piece of wood, etc. The photos also aren’t accurate as far as the bed situation, there’s actually two bunk beds but the slats are broken for the top bunks rendering them useless so we had to use air mattresses. With there being a big event in town, we weren’t able to find other accommodations for our group on short notice. Overall, it wasn’t an awful house and worked for what we needed it for, but the house shouldn’t be this filthy for the price of the cleaning fee that was charged.
I received communication 2 hours before check-in stating there was a problem at the property needing repair. I received a refund and we ended up staying at a hotel. So stars are not applicable to any of the categories. Would have been nice to receive notification earlier so we forced to take a hotel. 2 hours was not a good enough notice to make other arrangements.

Thanks for the stay! Booked this weeks in advance to ensure my baby girl could enjoy her birthday with a sleepover.Reached out to the hosts to request a late checkout via the app to no avail. Was able to reach via phone & late check out was granted.I’ve been a host for about 9 years now so I HATE leaving reviews like this. The home was a bit dirty. We ended up purchasing cleaning supplies to clean the fridge/freezer. Sink was clogged, floors were very dirty, there was a leftover eyelash from previous guest in the master bedroom. I did request a refund on only the cleaning fee, but the host declined and said that we left trash? Where is the humanity? Basically I overpaid and had to clean. Unacceptable as a host. Would love to recommend this property, but I can’t.

Misleading listing, unresponsive host
I feel obligated to share my recent experience at this property. The listing unfortunately did not accurately represent the actual accommodation, and communication with the host was problematic throughout my stay. When I attempted to contact the host about these issues shortly after check-in, I received no response. Most concerning was the host's behavior when I raised these issues with the booking platform. The host made claims that contradicted the documented reality of the situation and allegedly provided misleading information to the platform. This dishonest approach to handling legitimate concerns was especially disappointing.

House has a sweet layout and some nice decor. Unfortunately it was not clean: sticky floors, food smudges on couches, baseboards and window sills are dirty. The house was stuffy and had a strong smell (perfumey) when we came in (plug-ins). We opened all the doors and windows and it helped. Kitchen is fairly well stocked with pans, dishes, etc. Could have used kitchen towels. Couches are comfy and streaming was available. King bed is too hard (and I like a firm bed). There are no top sheets or comforter covers on any of the beds so we were unclear how clean the comforters were. Does each comforter get washed every time? Even if they did, a top sheet would be good for when the comforter is too warm. Rooms are set up differently than in the listing. One king bed in a room with its own bathroom. One queen bed in a room. And then two sets of bunk beds in one room (both with full on bottom, twin on top). For how much we paid, we would not stay here again. But it has potential if they make changes.
